I had an idea to take that island in Windenburg and turn it into a giant boarding school with one lot being the school requirements, a gym, a theatre, dorms. I was heartbroken when I realised I wasn't allowed. Well, not anymore! I shall have my amazing boarding school island.

I scaled the desk down with tool and placed the desk I wanted over it. Works like a charm

That's exactly what I was about to reply, yes! That trick needs to be known throughout the community, it's surprisingly useful to size down furniture and shove something over it.
I love the more students mod, I know a lot would disagree but the high school pack is pretty good at baseline, it seems to work well for me with no crazy bugs.
I kinda love the High School. Even if the bugs it came with immediately killed my entire elder population in town 😅
Is there a mod where they transform the class, lessons, and the school itself actually into a magic related one? It'd be cool to have like a fully fledged Spellcaster school mod, and not just a set dressing of sort. Bonus if it only lets spellcaster students into the lot.

I've always hated how empty the classrooms feel, and that my teen's friends and teen family members aren't there, having this many more sims on the lot will make my life better
abt the school uniforms, i always put two types of uniforms in my teens' hot climate clothes ( an uniform without the jacket ) and cold climate clothes ( an uniform with the jacket )
I really appreciate the Additional SimTuber Avatars mod. I also use a mod called More Club and Holiday Icons by Zerbu. Icons and avatars are a tiny feature and super easy to implement, yet EA only gives us like 12 options? It’s absolute laziness.

Itd be good if there were like actual grades connected like a freshman etc etc and then a rabbit hole once they get to a certain day In there life stage where they "Graduate from that year" And then the school graduation event for the senior thing or they get report cards at the end of each sims week and a pop up notif about there grades for the week and they'll have like a little thing in there inventory which they take home and If Its bad there parent disciplines them it'd be interested with the parenthood grounding system and the sneak out thing implemented in the pack sorry If the comments long I wish I could make a mod like this but sadly I don't know how to make mods 😭 BUT one more thing i'd like to see Is a rebellious thing where the sim has a whole journey through there teen years first being angry and stuff then getting in the middle simmering down maturing getting older and then at the end being able to move on with there life that would be great for a storyline or... The actual story system In the game If they actually MADE the story's have any emotional interest

Aww man! The fashion authority mod is so long winded to use, but this other mod you've shown ... I don't like the shoes they've chosen or the skirt colours. I like how you can set new cheer uniforms and the principal outfit with fashion authority. It's just a bitch to do the set up is all.
My boys wouldn't wear the 'winter' uniforms at all and when the school bell rang they reverted to their everyday outfits. When I went back to manage them, the week days restrictions were out of whack 😐 Just seems very buggy
I wish the damn game worked because these mods make this game seem… semi enjoyable? I refuse to give EA more of my money, though.

Wouldn't the desk one count ANY desk in the lot as the principal's desk? Wouldn't that glitch the functionality? And the one to move the School, Wouldn't that glitch with the activities in the yard?
Why not read the mod descriptions, they literally answer your questions. The desk mod does not glitch the principals desk; you can techincally have more than one HSY principal's desk on the lot as well without anything glitching. The mod just enables other desks to count as this one desk type (if you don't like the modern look) as well. And the school lot mod doesn't mess with the yard, since it doesn't even touch it. The football, cheerleading and other festivities will still be held at the yard, regardless of where you'd place your alternative high school lot, since they're separate anyways. Hope this helps.

Hey Satch - am I going mad or is Social Bunny the App.... not new? Cause I'm 100% sure I remember an ACTUAL bunny thing in the sims called the social bunny? I'm either right or suffering from a very weird mandela effect!
Were you perhaps thinking of the Plopsy app that came with Nifty Knitting? 🤔 It also has a bunny icon, so that could explain your confusion. Or maybe you mean the social bunny from The Sims 2?

Excuse me but I need to ask how much time do you spend fucking around with mods? I don't mean gameplay, I mean setting them up and re-doing them every time they break? Because I don't want to spend more time on setting up mods than actually playing the game, and it seems to me that most people spend a lot of time on them.
Do you mean downloading the mod itself and moving it to your mods folder? Because if you do that it should take very little time
It depends. Installing mods is the easiest part. Custom Content breaks a whole lot less, if rarely at all. I only place in mods that are must haves. There's great groups (like ItsMeTroi Discord and Scarlet Realms Mod Update List) that help so much with tutorials and the like, but it takes time to update the files when gameplay mods break. I have 67+ mods and it takes about a few days to update when I feel like doing so (because Origin's offline mode is awesome when patch day arrives.)
