    • Exactly, just cut the cake fully in half the first time and it won't be an issue

    • I think it can be a good idea if a cake is big and high and you want to divide it into many pieces. Then, slicing in a traditional way from the centre, you would have to make the pieces extremely thin, which may not look very good and the pieces might just break. So this way of slicing in different sizes of triangles might not be that stupid.

    • Instead of putting in the dryer, you can heat your oven up then turn it off and let bread sit in there.     • You can also put the doughnuts in the oven for about 5 minutes. It softens them up. My mom used to do that when I was a kid. It works.
