Favourite character was Ragnar and my favourite of his sons was Ivar.. but without a doubt bjorn was actually the best fighter in that show.. only aspect I’d say he was greater than Ragnar in.. cuz Ragnar was already considered king of Norway before a position was created for bjorn and Harald to fight over.. If Ragnar was alive at the time of that battle, every single lord lady, king, queen, jarl, man, shieldmaiden, boy, girl and whatever else can fight would have happily gathered to fight along side Ragnar lothbrok so they shouldn’t make it look like it was something only bjorn could do..😂 Fire edit though💪🏼💪🏼

Alexander the Great didn't just come out of his mother womb and conquered Persia with sheer luck and good looks. He had years of military training and fought against many kingdoms before his offensive against the Persians. Along side being a great general, Alexander was also a superb statesman. Alexander’s armies became one of the best in the world, and the economy of Macedonia was well built and growing constantly as the Persians declined. The Persians with a weak economy could no longer make scientific advancements. Persia decreased in complexity towards the end of its era. The decrease in these advancements caused their weapon production and safety to diminish allowing the Greeks to gain the upper hand in combat. In fact during the invasion, citizens of all ranks within the Achaemenid empire were starting to defy their Persians masters. One of the greatest examples being when Darius was killed by his own cousin, who delivered the fallen king’s head to Alexander as a tribute.

Alexander personally led the Macedonian cavalry charge at Issus which led to a stunning defeat for the Persians, and made king Darius look like a complete idiot as he fell off his horse and fled from the scene. Alexander fighting alongside his comrades gave a boost of moral to his soldiers, as the Greeks knew they were going into combat with a military genius who could keep them safe. Alexander also allowed his soldiers to plunder and steal from captured villages. This raised the moral of soldiers as they were constantly getting goods and slaves from raided towns. More people were willing to join the Macedonians and die fighting for them knowing they could get free shit from pillaged settlements. Although huge, Persia was no where near as powerful as it used to be. After suffering a humiliating defeats to the Greeks in the 5th-century B.C, Persia stopped expanding. Instead, the Achaemenid empire was wracked by civil wars, debt, poverty and other internal problems. However on the other hand, the Macedonians and Greeks were becoming more powerful by the day. Alexander’s armies became one of the best in the world, and the economy of Macedonia was well built and growing constantly as the Persians declined. The Persians with a weak economy could no longer make scientific advancements. Persia decreased in complexity towards the end of its era. The decrease in these advancements caused their weapon production and safety to diminish allowing the Greeks to gain the upper hand in combat. In fact during the invasion, citizens of all ranks within the Achaemenid empire were starting to defy their Persians masters. One of the greatest examples being when Darius was killed by his own cousin, who delivered the fallen king’s head to Alexander as a tribute.
