Steady on. He showed he could dominate at domestic level but world level is a big jump. Theres levels
@@vinde1erm 394 wins to 1 loss in amateurs and the record hes had as pro. Statistically hes the best boxer to exist. Obviously subjective but hard to argue against. Hes a magician in the ring.
@@theboxingboy7422 there really isn’t anywhere to go in between this and the big fights in America. Yeah it’s a step up but with speed and reflexes like that and the ability to keep up the movement for 12 rounds makes him a problem for anyone. Perhaps this was just his career defining performance and he’ll never pull it off again, who knows.
Whatever Kelly did in the lead up to this fight… he needs to keep at it. The man leveled up big time.. can’t wait for his next bout
Josh landed some beautiful shots and slipped shots really well, I hand to rewind and go to half speed a couple times to appreciate the skills, what a great fight!
If Josh Kelly learned the Philly shuffle to keep his hands up he would be even deadlier.
You mean the Philly Shell. And you are right, it would level him up significantly. He could still fight how he does but mixing in the Philly Shell would prevent some of the punches that do get through to be caught on the gloves and shoulder.

As soon as a fighter from Europe starts doing well, people think they can achieve something at world level. Lets not forget that Kelly couldnt handle 10 mins with Avanesyan and at the same time Avanesyan looked as an amateur when he fought Crawford. The exact same happened with Lejarraga from Spain. Fans where fantasizing with him competing for a world belt way too soon. He then got koed twice by Avanesyan aswell

Just like everyone i am a fan of PBK's style ... I'll watch all his fights, and this was a masterclass of a bout. I still cant shake the feeling that this is nowhere near enough against the big boys in his weight division. How is this going to work against the likes of charlo or fundora?

You are 💯💯correct against any world level fighter Kelly would be exposed bigtime lol His fight against Avanesyan who was good European level was the proof in the pudding for everybody to see.
