The new Twilight Masquerade Alakazam could be a good second option after dealing down damage from the bench 😊

Mixing in the twilight masquerade line will make this deck very interesting. So glad to see kadabra finally get its day in the TCG!
And we maybe get the optimal abra too
I've been trying to get alakazam going and it tends to either brick a lot or just straight up lose to zard and roaring moon. I tried adding an espathra ex to the deck but it was generally still too inconsistent. I was running xatu though, so maybe I'll experiment with other draw engines.
Alakazam+eri+blocklax+rad alakazam is actually kinda crazy

I paired a 2-2 Espathra EX line in my Zam to combat Zard as well as 2 devos and it’s done really well
Huge fan of this archetype! I play it with xatu, not flashy but it has nice synergy. Max belt is nice, can two shot charizard from the bench if you don’t get bossed.
Need to revisit Decidueye ex now that Lax won a regional. It has a lot more tools than when you did it 8 months ago. Buddy-Buddy, neo upper, etc.

I think alakazam will like that new pokemon thats immune to pokemon with abilities

Vengeful punch would hit Alakazam on the bench. Punch states that it pings the attacking pokemon instead of the active
I also added a Diancie to my Alakazam deck to prevent getting my Alakazam from being bossed in some situation
Dance only stops boss to your basic pokemon I think.
Wont work tho diance only blocks basics sadly
With the release of the new baby Alakazam, do you think we will start seeing more Alakazam deck play? I could see a case for sticking up a heavy pokemon to do damage and then moving said damage to problematic bench characters while running card disruption as well.
Another wall deck I really like to play is Relicanth-Feraligatr. Really nice to play with all the options as well
Ive been cooking with that idea since the feraligatr build maybe ill try it soon!
@@LittleDarkFury Hi, maybe you can review the rat combo of TDMP (Togedemaru-Dedenne-Morpeko-Pikachu) with new additional cards from temporal forces and paradox rift. This list is built for consistency, you can improve it further, i had Boss order, Vitality band (so dedenne can take out manaphy instead of using pikachu), Roxanne and Radiant Alakazam in mind. On that last game on your last turn you could've used counter Catcher to gust up the moltres and OHKO it with alakazam and win the game like that

I was expecting Radiant Alakazam. Not only does it help with the math across multiple KOs (evolved or TM Devo), but it also would have ruined the Gengars in that Zoroark deck.

Alakazam would be God Tier if there was a Leafy Camo Poncho for ex mons. Still love it when i use it on Arceus/Vulpix deck and people try to boss them.
Cornerstone ogrepon will be a huge wall for this
This deck might be better when Twilight comes out and hopefully we see less zard on the ladder.

Cool ace spec idea.. the Rarest Candy. You can evolve into a stage two on your first turn or whenever you put your basic Pokemon into play. You don't have to wait for next turn to evolve. Like Salvatore but for stage 2s.

@@LittleDarkFury it might need to be nerfed. Something like, if the stage 2 has abilities, they can't use them this turn when they evolve this way. That way Charizard and Pidgeot isn't too powerful.

Hey LDF, do you think zoroark has a shot of being good next set? We get that tool kit ace spec, or we could now run frosslass - turo - max belt as a more consistent self damage engine
I think you could even use Emolga's Colorless move from TWM
Froslas is interesting. I dont know that its needed. The deck already does pretty well. Its rogue but a pretty good rogue deck as is.
I think Zoroark is still gonna be rogue. Dragapult is gonna push it back super heavily. And Frosslass is amazing and funny but I don't think it'll be meta. The snorunt is pretty funny as well. I would love to be wrong but I think Pult is going to gatekeep just as many decks as Charizard. If Zard is the new Mew Vmax I think Pult will be the new Sableye. And I bet we are headed to a meta with about 5 extremely relevant decks and the rest getting bodied. Again, would love to be wrong but it's happened before.

@@LittleDarkFury i added 2 Flutter Manes and took out 1 klefki and a super rod. Still looking for more improvements. Thinking of possibly taking out radiant jirachi and defiance band, replacing neo energy with max belt. I would have 2 card spots, any suggestions?

since you were so confused @LittleDarkFury , the last charizard deck is the automatically generated one, that was created when the new season started. that's why they have these weird cards in there.
