yeah he probably should have either just asked the others for some more food, or just waited till he got off work, then bought some more dog food. he only had like 5 minutes left according to the clock sequence ( 4:21 - 4:25 ) which suggests he was working a 12 hour overtime shift. He really had it made, and then threw it away because he didn't have any self-control

I didn't like it because he tried to change and really wanted to run away before he hurt someone, and in the end he didn't even stay friends with the purple sheep, making that build up useless. The audience was just led on and left hanging for the sake of a mediocre joke in the end.

I agree. what was the point of that pink haired sheep if they didn't bring her back later on. They made her seem like an important roll. imagine if she was one of the ones to get hurt in the elevator ? Since she tugged heart strings at the beginning that would of been a bigger shock to the veiwers(or lol, if your an ass like me) Or if she stayed friends with him after his accedent Like a friendship moral...like what the tital itself sort of makes you think it's about? Feels like the writers were really into this and setting up for a heart warming pixar vibe with a secondary character ,but then got tired half way and said "fuck it he kills everyone and goes on to the next tom and jerry styled adventure" ,, strange... mix? didn't move me nor made me laugh? If it was Tom n jerry styled all the way through,could be funny, if it was pixar all the way through, could of been heart pulling. I was just left confused on wtf their aiming for. there are ways to change style/vibe half way through a film, this isn't one. Clearly they tried gush-to-humor , but had hiccups that made it all strange.
SpriteWild Well not everything has a happy ending, this is a more realistic animation than those child cartoons like Disney. Some people just don’t change.
I took it as he was daydreaming it all, and in his daydream he wanted to try and eat them, but then he wanted to change. But because he was worried about what he might do he decided to stay as a window washer rather than try to change. I feel like he's daydreaming when he cleans all these windows with all those floors and knows what he is, but wants to change, then decided to stay miserable and alone rather than risk getting close to people... because he might hurt them. It's a little sad...
Chocolate Panda that doesn’t matter in this case. This is a story and the ending didn’t work with the plot, sure it might have been for shock humor but it was pretty bad writing with a disappointing end

yup, it's really very sad. there were so many ways he could have had a happy ending. 5:01 they were about to restock the kitchen with more dog food 3:45 he was earning his first paycheck, which would have let him buy his own food when he wanted 4:21 - 4:25 the clock sequence suggests he was working a 12 hour overtime shift, and didn't become hungry until like, 5 minutes before he would have clocked out. he could have just logged off, hit the can really quick to burn the last few minutes, and then get off work. 4:08 he's clearly made a good impression and most of his coworkers really like him, especially the pink sheep. all he had to do was ask and they probably would have made a quick grub-run for him. I feel bad for him, but at the same time, he kinda did it to himself. self-control is a virtue
Awesome animation. It had a very funny ending though it didn't end quite the way I expected it to. When he got in the elevator I thought his friend the purple haired sheep would end up in there with him. She would still be tempting to him but she would be able to help him through it and would become a true friend to him afterwards. It would prove to him that his better job and great friend was worth more to him than just a quick meal. Just my opinion.
