The thing I loved about the XS was that it had 3D Touch. And it was the last iPhone that had it. It came in handy when playing games that supported it like PUB G and COD Mobile. But battery was shit. If the battery life wasn’t as bad as it was I never would have upgraded.
Been using mine since 2019. Battery is a bit of a weak point but still sufficient for how much I use the phone. Still feels as fast as it was brand new, overall I’m super happy with it
Is it normal? I just swap my phone to an iphone xs 256 gb and i noticed that even I’m not using it, its draining a bit fast. Its on 89% battery health tho
@@Nick-dc6yp yeah pretty normal. The XS were known for having quite small batteries. I traded my XS for a 14 pro and the main improvement is battery life.

The thing with this phone is the battery. If you buy it you need to make sure its at least 90% or more (or replaced), especially for iOS 16. Otherwise I'd look at 11 Pro, battery will last better overall.

@@Sami-ke8nx My phone was at 81% and I got the battery replaced at a phone shop (not apple) and it works just like new, solid battery life and snappy, after few weeks the battery message dissipates.

@@cocomarts4757 not long honestly. The 11 pro has a better battery but if you can get a good deal on a 12-13 pro or non pro I’d say get those instead for the longer update service !!

I still have my XS Max. Still love it. I did just order an 11 Pro Max to try, mostly because I only had 64 gb storage on the XS Max but I would buy it again even now. XS Max has a stronger screen than the 11 Pro, in case you have rough kids playing with it. My battery is still 82% which isn't bad after 5 years.
I ordered XS yesterday, always had iphone but currently I have Samsung note 10+ but I'm happy I'm going back to iphone, the newer ones (12 or newer) are just too expensive so hope the XS still does it

got the 256gb variant for Christmas and going to this from the SE from 2020 is such a huge jump for me. I wanted it just for gaming (Minecraft and Genshin Impact) and the battery lasts for a good number of hours.
Same here. Still got the SE 1 since 2019 and is hoping to upgrade to this. Sure longevity and battery could be a problem in the future but the chipset and ram is what makes it worth while imo.

I'm still using iphone xs 64 GB now for five years and will continue to use it till 2025 😅 my battery health is 92% which is great and my usage is pretty basic so I don't feel the need for newer iphone
I just got one last year and I don’t regret it, the screen resolution is even better than an iPhone 11

iPhone XS user here. I would say that it still holds up pretty well considering it's age but I wouldn't recommend buying one in 2023... iPhone 11 / 11 Pro would be the oldest I would still consider buying (especially bc battery life is WAY better on those). Cheers

@@--K1t0-- My device features 64gb and I’d it‘s enough for me. About 70 Apps installed currently and 50gb iCloud+ subscription (which I‘d recommend to almost every Apple user out there). I‘ve still got 17gb of storage left, even though I have my music library on my device as well. iPhones are really efficient when it comes to storage
Will I be able to use the Apple Watch Series 6/7 ECG with this phone? I heard the apple watch ECG does not work with some older iphones.
The only problem with mine was that it got hot and the battery died really fast. I love the 13 more.
I love the x’s design my fav iPhone design ever I got 11 pro but I still find myself still fake wanting a xs lol it jus looks so nice lol
I had the 12 mini and loved its size. But it fell hard too often. Getting a new or used 12 mini was too expensive in my opinion so I went for the XS. Little did I know I‘d love this one soo much. I admittedly fell i love with the 12 mini‘s 5,4“ inch display, but 5,8“ is perfect and 6,1“ is too big and not handy at all imho. I presumably will not replace my 81%-battery if it becomes a problem eventually, but get a new iphone. But til then I‘ll be patient. The new iphones are not better at all in terms of user experience and the camera system on the iphone 15 is no improvement at all (still 12 MP sensor, the so called 48 MP is a marketing term, just the old hat called giga pixel, pixel binning, you name it). I‘m not fooled by that though I‘d call myself a fan boy.
The XS is still an overkill for today's basic and normal needs

UPDATE: i got like 7 months ago 💀 it’s been GREATTT the camera quality is chefs kiss, u can record in 4k, it’s batter life is AMAYZING and it’s fast-such a good phone to have!

I bought one used. I had the battery changed yesterday, seems to be good. I have a 13 mini. But since it’s on a 36 month plan I want to keep the battery life high.

Still a very capable phone in my opinion! But battery health is at 88%, 30 minutes of internet browsing dips 10%!

@@Meenahyll nope . The battery is terrible on some days and it overheats really bad . My battery health went from 91 to 86 in two months . Only thing i do with mine is that use social media ( only WhatsApp , Instagram and KZhead ) and use safari here and there . I'm mostly on Spotify listening to music all the times on my wired headphones . So it cannot effect the battery much too . I get only like 4 - 5 hours on light use like that . For a heavy use my battery goes down in 2 - 3 hours 🤦🏻♂️ except for the battery , xs still holds up really good so just make sure you get a good battery life

Get the xs. Coz it has more ppi and resolution then the 11. 11 is just a waste of cash. The 11 is basically a improved xr with a lil adjustments
I have the iPhone 11 and I think you should get an 11. It has amazing processor, its really fast and has a lot of good things about it. The camera is amazing. Other than the battery life which on a full use lasts 5Hrs 30mins , it’s an amazing phone. I suggest you think about getting one. You can find very good deals for refurbished ones as well.

I have a XS, get the 11. It has longer battery life and is better in every way other than the screen.
If it had a better battery life and night mode this phone would still be a good phone till 2023 but it doesn’t so no it’s not worth it.

I just gotten a used XS recently and I would like to know will it lag with IOS 16? Will it cause issues? I'm still on ios 15.4. The shop that I bought it from told me not to update to ios 16. Is that true?
iOS 16 isn’t great and I would recommend that you stick to 15.4.
If yall r thinking should i get an xs, xr or 11 get the xs coz the 11 and xr are basically the same thing. The 11 is just a lil better then the xr but the xs has more res and ppi than both, and the 11 and xr have same ppi nd res so i wouldn't suggest the 11 or xr imo
11s camera is better than the others that you mentioned but i think xs is the best day-user phone that if you want to buy a second hand iphone for a cheap price. Because the screen on xs is way better than the 11s and xrs, ill go for xs max!

@@lyricznbeatz the battery is actually pretty good my capacity is 74 percent i charge my phone once in the morning before school and again in the evening. but if you buy it with a higher capacity you should easily be able to get through the day with one charge (btw i use an ipad 8 fast charger)
