@@STOG01 The least the city could do is to put protective barriers along the sidewalks to prevent those reckless drivers from mounting the sidewalks.
@@christinamayers3234 The probblem with that then is, that emergency vehicles can't reach those areas anymore.
@@christinamayers3234 Every video someone suggests this and every video someone has to explain this is not possible, both because trucks can go there to unload heavy goods for shops, and if there is a traffic jam, police, ambulances and fire trucks are allowed to use the pavement to get to an emergency. Also, trucks that clean the roads and pavements have to be able to drive there to clean. This is why they dont have bollards in these places.
@@JohnDoe-bd5sz I don't know about Russia but in other countries even emergency vehicles don't drive on sidewalks. We don't have these ultra wide sidewalks so I guess it's just a russian thing. We have dedicared roads and entrances for emergency vehicles.
