Alwaaaaays in the late night hours, these horrific crashes… as I once was told, nothing good happens after midnight. Be at home.
....particularly when alcohol is involved.

The first gentleman they interviewed seems like an absolute sweetheart. He was so saddened to hear that there were fatalities.
Yes, he was but the poor guy really didn't see anything so he seemed to be lost for words on what to say. I felt so awkward for him.
"i just heard that two people DIE from a car that flip over... Hopefully you know, the passenger and the driver are ok"... Yeah, let hope the two people that DIE are ok...
The first guy was a nice guy but he didn’t know anything so I’m not sure why they interviewed him.

Even thou the accident is horrific and loud, there is only one other horrific sound that is deafening, and that sound is the eerie silence before the ME shows up for the deceased victims. May the lord be with the families of the two people who died in this accident.

That was clearly a rotting unhealthy tree… so I’m not sure the point your making is it was, or wasn’t a hard crash🤔
I've been driving my x5 for over 10 yrs and the amount of stupidity with other bmw drivers scares the crap out of me. I drive with all my intelligence level at its highest level. No matter what car you drive ,you have safety in mind. DAM ONE TIRE IS SPLIT IN 1/2. A car traveling over 95mph is just like a missile. Stop showing off its not worth it,and if you out drinking ,leave that ride and call an Uber or a reliable friend that's sober with a valid license. RIP.

I’ve owned 11 different BMWs and I learned no matter how amazing they are, you can’t drive these cars with reckless abandon. Regardless of how well built the cars are you cannot survive hitting a tree, concrete structures and stuff at great speed. Oh yeah turning the traction control off is unhooking the brakes on your bicycle downhill and hoping nothing bad happens. I’m a mechanical engineer and these automotive engineers spent countless hours calculating and doing research to make your car safe to drive. Then some people turn off those safeguards.
They never stood a chance going that fast.
One mistake can end in tragedy. Rest In Peace to those who lost their lives

Very kind-hearted young man they interviewed. This is so sad. I, too, wonder if it was racing, drinking, or too much speed for the rainy conditions.
I worked graveyard at a gas station, in New Jersey, in the 80s. NJ has employee only gas pumping. I was always amazed at how many drunks showed up in the wee hours. I would say 3 out of ten, and that was a long time ago. Sick.
Car Must've been Airborne to take off a branch that's 6 ft. up.
The animosity between NY and NJ will never die. That lady made it perfectly clear subliminally in there interview.
3 car crash on the main ave. 1 house down from my house tonight also. One of the drivers told me the guy behind him had passed him, and lost control hitting the guy in oncoming traffic, luckily he only had a few cuts his car was busted up pretty good, the other guys car wasn't that bad even though he ended up stopping up against a parked car, he seemed O.K. The thing is on this avenue there is NO PASSING the speed limit is 35, so the guy was probably going 45 to 50 mph and the road was slick. I live about 3 and a half hrs. of a Drive Northeast of NYC.
Interviewers ; We have to interview someone. Here's a random guy watching the aftermath, let's interview him. Sir, Can you tell us what happened? Random Guy: No. What Happened ?

It never ceases to amaze me how someone can drive that fast to have that bad of a wreck in a residential neighborhood where the speed limit is probably only 40 mph at the most
The silence on these foggy, night calls, especially on a fatal, is deafening. I do not miss these calls one bit, but I remember every one. It's not natural. The wait for the ME seems like a damn eternity..bothered me to no end cuz I always felt like the dead were wondering and waiting like, "GMTF outta here. What are you waiting for?" Unerrving as hell.

Looks like an 8 series, very fast, very good stability and traction control systems. You have to really blow it to do that in one of those. That is the clearest video I've ever seen!

As a physicist, I must admit I am perplexed by some of these catastrophic accidents and the underlying physics, or in the driver's case, the lack of understanding of the underlying physics (e.g. lack of understanding of reduced friction coefficient on a wet surface) responsible for them. Speed kills!

As a result of the investigation, TEDDY MEJIA was charged with two counts of second-degree vehicular homicide while in violation of driving while intoxicated, N.J.S.A. 2C:11-5(1); and third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1). MEJIA was also issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to maintain a lane.
This is so crazy to me finding out that I had a fling with Teddy years ago! My bff told me he was in big trouble now… and I find out THIS was caused by him. He’s definitely a narcissist. So this is actually kinda telling of his behavior and reckless Care for others.

On a quiet street like this, a serious accident is probably cause by bad driving, you should drive slow at night, even with a flat tire, a flip over shouldn't happen.
This is always sad for the surviving members.
I had a bad accident right here back in 1978.. A Vega hit me in my passenger door I was driving a Toyota Celica.. Just left my friends house that lived on Hamilton.. The streets here, the intersections are screwed up, they are off-set corners.. No one lost their lives, I had 2 ppl got to the hospital over night, both released the next day.. Was mutual fault.. My condolences to the families of all that lost their lives here.. This is a bad intersection...

I don't understand why people continue to drive so wreckless. I saw a car flipped last week, similar to this; that accident was fatal.
When I was a teenager my curfew was midnight. I could never understand why and I used to get 😡. Now being almost 54 and my son almost 29, I've truly realize nothing good happens after midnight. Especially when thr bars close. Try to get your kids to understand this. Shoe this message to them and maybe it will hit them and show them it's not a joke. 😔 😔 😢 😢 😭 😭

So it was the restaurant owner of the Elsa Chicharron son who was driving and lived, but the cook and asst. cook got killed in the crash and yes the driver was drinking and had a dangerous controlled substance which he was charged for the deaths, drinking, the controlled substance 🤦🏽♀️🙏🏽
At 32, you should know better to not drink and drive. And the two that passed, rest their souls, should've never got in the vehicle. Now he will go to prison and think about his mistake everyday for the rest of his life. Thank goodness no other car was involved. And I hope the tree makes a full recovery.
If you’re saying that the driver of one car was DUI then he didn’t make a ”mistake”. He got behind the wheel knowing he had been drinking, that’s not a mistake, that’s a deliberate decision. The people who were passengers in the same car, they made the decision to get into a car driven by a driver who had been drinking. There were no mistakes made, they all made deliberate decisions. My deepest sympathies go to the innocent people and their families. I have no sympathy for drunks. The drunk driver is a murderer.

The young man they interviewed who also drives a BMW has such a kind soul. The woman Sharon who was interviewed with her husband Chris looked like she was tweaking. As tragic as it is, I am still Thankful no other vehicles were involved

Another person gave his name. Driver lived, killed his 2 passengers. He was drunk and had drugs, high speed, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane.
This is exactly why i don't ride with ppl or allow my son to... drive yaself!

The reputation of some of the drivers end in fatalities. I'm a MORTICIAN and have been to many of these scenario's.. Not pretty at all. I encourage YOU ALL, PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, DON'T LET COWARDS TALK YOU INTO SOMETHING THEY ARENT WILLING TO DO THEMSELVES. THIS COULD BE YOUR CONCLUSION
