    • Tᴏɴʏ Tσиу Cнopper because it removes calcium and bacteria and other elements from tap water. There are many different ways to filter water, and one of those ways is by boiling it, because the heat removes the bacteria/calcium and other elements, and they escape via the steam.

    • It would remove some of the impurities from the water, calcium hydrogencarbonate is found in most water sources, it causes what is known as "temporary hardness" in water, and can be removed by boiling

  • To get crystal clear ice, just use boiled water. It is a known bartender trick. (wait for it to cool down before pouring or the plastic will deform)

    • Thats only if you completely saturate the solution though, if you only use a small amount of salt to change the taste, you'd only notice maybe -5C difference

    • It was actually sarcasm, of course salt water freezes under -5 °C, and more if it has movement, but that depends on how it moves.

  • секрет в том, чтобы как можно лучше изолировать все грани формы, кроме одной. попробуй поставить форму в нижнюю секцию морозилки, так больше холода будет поступать сверху и замораживание пройдет равномернее. у меня получилось сделать довольно здоровенный ледяной блок настолько чистый, насколько вообще возможно, путем сооружения контейнера из пенопласта. возможно еще хорошей идеей будет не дожидаться полного замерзания жидкости, потому что, мне кажется, при расширении грязный лед может вызвать деформации в чистом.
