  • If Stanton stays hitting like this I don’t remember a lineup that was this balanced and stacked since 2012. A opening day lineup of 1. Gleyber 2B 2. Soto RF 3. Judge CF 4. Rizzo 1B 5. Stanton DH 6. Verdugo LF 7. DJ 3B 8. Wells/ Trevino C 9. Volpe SS

  • Giancarlo Stanton Grand Slam was legendary he hit 3 home runs. Stanton hit a game winning Grand Slam 2 years ago against the same team when Aaron Judge hits his 60th homer in that game.

  • I wish we had statcast for that grand slam from Stanton. His first and third home run, you can eyeball (and that first home run was a monster shot) but the Grand slam cleared the stadium completely in a flash, and I want to know how far it went. Also: Soto-Judge-Stanton... if all three can stay healthy (yes, a big if) that's some serious firepower. But I am concerned about our starting pitching.

  • This is pretty much what you dream about with this lineup. You can't expect Stanton to be this all year, but if he has a handful of week long stretches like this, that'll make this lineup very, very, scary.

    • Stanton is a streaky guy he’s either crushing everything or crushing nothing no in between and it’s ok bc over the course of the the year it evens out. Yankee fans somehow can’t comprehend this and it drives me crazy that they alternate booing him off the field and chanting mvp
