Honestly, anything but a diamond or netherite beacon is kinda easy these days. Iron, Gold and Emeralds can all be farmed fairly simply, so it's only the pair of non renewables that really work for flexing.

I gave up strategic Netherite mining long time. I have a smith, that sells a decent pickaxe and take a few of those as burner, leaving nothing but a center gangway from level 23-13. It's not faster than explosive mining, but considering the time it takes to get the explosives and deal with the collateral damage, it comes out even.

I wanna do a really sick obsidian and crying obsidian build for the end dragon. Make her a cage she can’t escape, and a “throne” that sits above the end portal. That way I can freely place beds to kill her. Make it double-caged so she can’t affect anything outside the cage, including light sources. I hope to make it look nice.
