The Bite of '87 victim wasn't a child but was the day guard from FNaF 2. Phone guy said that the night guard will be moved to the day shift because a position became available with much hesitation. That heavily implies that something horrible happened to the day guard. But that begs the question, "Which animatronic was the one who bit the guard?" We know that it had to be one of the new toy animatronics because they all have facial recognition software that's hooked up to a database of local criminals. William Afton was trying to get into the pizzeria but wasn't allowed inside because he and Henry Emily had a falling out because of preceding events. So he fudged the toy animatronics' software using his knowledge of robotics to recognize criminals as non threats and regular adults as threats. That's why the toy animatronics always stared at adults with such contempt. With the software hacked, William was able to slip into the pizzeria undetected and murder children as the week went on. With Charlie Emily being a victim of William Afton, her soul possessed her dad's animatronic he built to protect her. She gained the power to protect others and took the souls of the kids William Afton later killed as the week progressed and placed them inside the withered animatronics they had in Parts and Service. One by one, the Marionette put them in the withereds. That's why they actively try to kill the night guard. And the toy animatronics try to kill the night guard too because of their messed up software. The toys are not possessed by any souls. Now back to the question, "Who caused the Bite of '87?" It could not have been the withereds as they are stored in Parts and Service during the day and never leave that room. So it had to be one of the toy animatronics. The general consensus is that it was Mangle who bit the guard that day. Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica aren't really capable of biting because their mouths don't have big hinges like Mangle's. And Mangle's jumpscare animation has them swinging from above and biting their victim. Likely Mangle hid from view and swung down and bit the day guard's frontal lobe. However it's odd none of the animatronics got benched or decommissioned after the incident since they are all still trying to get to the night guard after the bite happened.

Also this is an accidental bite. The kids didn't mean to have fredbear bite him. They put him there to scare him, but he was crying so much that the water activated the springlock, causing for the mouth to slam shut, crushing his skull in the process.

If you listen to the phone guy in FNaF 1, he mentions the bite of 87, now you would think he means in FNaF 2 mangle bit the innocent gaurd, but he’s not, if you listen in FNaF 2, the phone guy mentions the charecters, the old ones. Now since this has occurred it makes no sense that the bite of 87 would’ve happened in the second game if it’s already happened when mentioned in FNaF 1. Also, FNaF is not the first Freddy’s restaraunt in the series.

Whole short story: Chris Afton was the youngest in the family. Getting the most attention in the family, Mike be came really jealous. On Chris’s 7th birthday, he wanted to go to the place his father worked at. Fred bears dinner. They were having fun when it became boring and Mike and his friends became bored and decided to play a “prank” on him. Mike and his friends forcefully pick chris up. They then went up to Fred bear and said “Why don’t you give Fred bear a big kiss!!!” And they put Chris up to Fred bears mouth. They put Chris in his mouth and he got bit in his frontal lobe. Mike was and felt very guilty for the years up until the new animatronics opened up for show in 1987. As the night guard was doing his job, mangle, a new but broken animatronic, popped up behind him. And he turned around and he was bit in the same spot Chris was, but he didn’t survive. Could this had been a coincidence?

The Bite of '87 victim wasn't a child but was the day guard from FNaF 2. Phone guy said that the night guard will be moved to the day shift because a position became available with much hesitation. That heavily implies that something horrible happened to the day guard. But that begs the question, "Which animatronic was the one who bit the guard?" We know that it had to be one of the new toy animatronics because they all have facial recognition software that's hooked up to a database of local criminals. William Afton was trying to get into the pizzeria but wasn't allowed inside because he and Henry Emily had a falling out because of preceding events. So he fudged the toy animatronics' software using his knowledge of robotics to recognize criminals as non threats and regular adults as threats. That's why the toy animatronics always stared at adults with such contempt. With the software hacked, William was able to slip into the pizzeria undetected and murder children as the week went on. With Charlie Emily being a victim of William Afton, her soul possessed her dad's animatronic he built to protect her. She gained the power to protect others and took the souls of the kids William Afton later killed as the week progressed and placed them inside the withered animatronics they had in Parts and Service. One by one, the Marionette put them in the withereds. That's why they actively try to kill the night guard. And the toy animatronics try to kill the night guard too because of their messed up software. The toys are not possessed by any souls. Now back to the question, "Who caused the Bite of '87?" It could not have been the withereds as they are stored in Parts and Service during the day and never leave that room. So it had to be one of the toy animatronics. The general consensus is that it was Mangle who bit the guard that day. Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica aren't really capable of biting because their mouths don't have big hinges like Mangle's. And Mangle's jumpscare animation has them swinging from above and biting their victim. Likely Mangle hid from view and swung down and bit the day guard's frontal lobe. However it's odd none of the animatronics got benched or decommissioned after the incident since they are all still trying to get to the night guard after the bite happened.

It's technically Involuntary Manslaughter which would land those kids 2-4 years in prison, felony probation, and a fine of up to $10,000

If you listen to the phone guy in FNaF 1, he mentions the bite of 87, now you would think he means in FNaF 2 mangle bit the innocent gaurd, but he’s not, if you listen in FNaF 2, the phone guy mentions the charecters, the old ones. Now since this has occurred it makes no sense that the bite of 87 would’ve happened in the second game if it’s already happened when mentioned in FNaF 1. They were having fun when it became boring and Mike and his friends became bored and decided to play a “prank” on him. Mike and his friends forcefully pick chris up. They then went up to Fred bear and said “Why don’t you give Fred bear a big kiss!!!” And they put Chris up to Fred bears mouth. They put Chris in his mouth and he got bit in his frontal lobe. Mike was and felt very guilty for the years up until the new animatronics opened up for show in 1987. As the night guard was doing his job, mangle, a new but broken animatronic, popped up behind him. And he turned around and he was bit in the same spot Chris was, but he didn’t survive. Could this had been a coincidence?
