Jimmy just explaining a story proves that he doesn’t need all these bits and skits on his show to be entertaining. Just engage with guests and let them talk
Lmao this is a long way of saying hes not that good as a comedian
Except he never lets others talk
I think its expected of him from the network at this point
@@smurfette_blues7922 On the contrary, they said that he IS a good comedian or at least storyteller. Read once again. They subtly criticized his show not his storytelling or comedy
It's not like he makes all decisions on the show, producers and directors do.
No matter the restrictions, graham still brings in the best of his hosting skills. Very few people can host like him 🙂🙂
Helped by the fact that he gets them all squiffy!
totally agree. I really like that he has his guests interacting, to the point where he oft-times simply just lets them talk amongst themselves. I've always missed that on the more familiar "talk shows" where the host talks for 5 minutes with the first guest, then pushes that guest down the sofa to make room for 5 minutes with the next guest, and so on ... totally boring, and also somewhat RUDE!
I read somewhere that he has his own NZ wine label, and there’s always buckets of the stuff for guests. They hang out together and get a bit tiddly and relaxed, then he brings them out and they all have fun together. Sounds amazing. His dinner parties must rock.
He's good at everything he does.
Not very few.....no one can...
Prince was a weird cat, that is for sure. Serving pancakes after random basketball games, asking Jimmy for a 1:1 ping pong match. He had to have lived the most interesting life.
All hail the Purple Yoda. ; )
Drug addicts are always peculiar
And an incredible musician!! 😱
And chasing Sinead o' Connor down his driveway , trying to hit her ..!
Daniel not getting invited to his own movie premiere, where he was THE LEAD is astounding to me. 😦
Someone dropped the ball on that one.
It was so bad it made Graham swear
Jimmy's tiny Prince impressions were surprisingly accurate, that "you ready for this?" facial expression was spot on
Jimmy is actually really funny when he’s not on the show
Telling a story about Prince is a no-lose proposition.
Where is this Jimmy when he's hosting his own show?
Jimmy is exactly here as he is on his own show.
He is naturally good in the show only when Nicole Kidman arrives. 😂
AGREED. On his shoe he sucks!!!
"I couldn't walk the next day, Rusty did me in". 😂😭
@@dnbrhmdnbrhm2996 it has sexual connotations
@@dnbrhmdnbrhm2996 7:30 Emily Blunt was saying the horse she rode was too rough, but the way she said it could sound sexual, out of context
@@dnbrhmdnbrhm2996 yw!
I absolutely LOVE that Graham lets his guests tell their stories. He doesn't really interrupts (sure, it's happened once or twice) but he really practices active listening well.
Yes!!
Such a cool story... Prince is a Legend!!!
Thanks...
@@S1L3NTG4M3R 😂😂
He was one of the coolest mofos ever, loved the story. 😂
Prince............ of darkness
@@adidono61 Prince... of The Funk.
LOVED Michael J Fox's son with his advice to his dad to respond to a critic with just the 3 letters "SMH"! I continue to be in awe of MJF's resilience.
‚You don’t wanna be in a place you don’t feel wanted’ - amen!
That's really sad but he just shrugs it off
I have heard about a lot of stories about Prince from different celebrities and it was always awesome omg. It's like he's letting most of the celebs experience a good time with him and let them tell the tale. Love him so much
💜
Graham carries us all sanely through the pandemic. 😌
That SMH joke is underrated 😭🥲
Wasn't a joke
@@chychywoohoo ..The literal joke he told wasn’t a joke?
Dude seriously. So many meanings when Fox himself says it. His son was brilliant to suggest.
SMH. Shaking my head. 1. Disagreeing with the insult, and chooses not to comment. But fools him, bc his reply is accurate, as it is the very truth of his well-being since getting diagnosed. I respect his son's suggestion. It simplifies to even a fraction of what any mere mortal could understand. Nobody is perfect, but different ppl have different opinions. Mike's one just proves how humble he still is, even though he's retired from acting but still does these interviews.
That Mandola is one of the sweetest instruments I've heard.
This show is addictive!
imagine seeing whole shows instead of just snippets.
@@RIXRADvidz I am telling you,it is addictive! Even after I watched the whole show I come back for the edited mini ones! 😅
@@stellamantikou4978 why
@@uwotm8575 First of all Grahams hosting skills are beyond measure and second, you get to hear lots of interesting, fun stories that happened to be said by famous people.
@@stellamantikou4978 i know i was trolling lol
1. when his former colleagues talk about Chadwick it always gives me goosebumps 2. Emily definitely doesn’t have a problem with laughing at herself
I 'm no irish but i love the sound of that instrument. I unexpectedly could imagine an Irish old-man's tears rolling down his face listening to this.
damn.. now I want Conan O'Brien to be interviewd by Graham too
Love the Irish reel at the end!👍😊🎶🎵😊👍
He is super talented. Enjoyed that bit so much.
Bill Bailey is amazing :)
This talk show seems to be the most genuine one I have ever watched. I always like the conversations and stories.
Man that clip of Daniel always makes me super sad. He’s laughing it off but I feel like that really bothered him. I know it would’ve bothered me.
Yeah, especially when Graham suggests he should say something and he says "Nah, you don't want to go where you aren't welcome". You can tell it was taken personally and rightfully so.
What movie was that? I thought he said origin?
@@vidsbyme2590 I think it was for Get Out
That little face Jimmy Fallon makes around 1:55 "game point" is so Prince!
My heart breaks every time I see something with Michael J Fox... McFly was my first action hero as a child
Me too. Parkinson is awful
Man you just broke mine because I didn't recognize him before reading your comment.
@@entasis704 watching him in front of law makers without his meds was the first time I broke kzhead.info/sun/mc-Im8mRZ55pdq8/bejne.html I don't remember him in the tv sitcom but he was the first actual movie I saw in a theater (local collage fund raiser as well as Dances with Wolves that same night. Double feature). The fact he said he had to hide his struggle was sad.
He is such an amazing soul who keeps going. Parkinson's is one of the truly evil illnesses that rocks so many people's lives and yet so much is still unknown about it
The chap that played the Mandola was truly inspiring. Well done mate.🇬🇧🍺
Bill Baley :) A great musician and even better comedian
@@annenixda4800 awesome.
"tom hanks gun toting which we rarely see" Woody would like a word with you Graham
Woody had a holster but no gun
@@Lopez.Victor damn, fair point
There is road to perdition and saving private Ryan for tom hanks with a gun though
@@Lopez.Victor he also has one in Forrest Gump for a spell
Sir…. He is THE ROOTINEST TOOTINEST COWBOY IN THE WILD WILD WEST!!!
“Shirts vs. Blouses” was all I could think about during the Jimmy vs. Prince interview 🤣
Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya!!!! Feels good to say.
Mr Bill Bailey, you amaze me sir, such multiskilled talent. Well done sir. Queenslander.
I've seen the Mandola clip a lot of times, but it manages to excite me and make me wanna dance, everytime.
Never seen it before. It was unexpectedly excellent.
That ending was incredible
Bill Bailey:)
Tom Hanks is always so gracious
Ah. That Prince story was Golden.
Bill was shredding on that Mandola!
The dancing to Elton John scene was my absolute favorite thus far in The Crown. I started listening to that song on repeat.
My man Prince had one goal and that was to destroy Jimmy in ping pong. Literally did like a ping pong hit and run
The most comfortable uncomfortable situation. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Never rushed this much😂😂
I love that Chappell, Jimmy and Charlie Murphy have extremely consistent Prince stories! I love it.
NOOOO!!!! Dave Chapelle was enacting a story from Charlie Murphy’s Hollywood stories and one of them was about prince. This sounds to me like some plagiarism on Jimmy Fallon‘s part! Joke theft! Amy Schumer level joke theft!
The last bit. That music... Nice one. Love it
I loved the mandola! Just beautiful.
I love this show!!!!! Why can't The US see entire episodes of this great show! Grrrrrrrr!
What language were you speaking before english? Anya: Spanish The moment I fell full in love with Anya Taylor Joy
Love you Mr . Norton... Be safe ,be well , thank you.
man I love Bill Bailey, what a character!
I always enjoy watching this show , he has a lot of interesting actors on his shows , I loved them all
Can you imagine how much they have spent oh these many years on Graham's gorgeous wardrobe?
ayo that little demo with the mandola was fireeeeeeee
How cool was Bill Bailey with the mandola? Very.
Came to find out Bill Bailey’s name. I’ve seen hm here before but know little of him. Bout to go research. MAJOR talent. 😎
That last one was amazing :')
I could sit an listen to Bill Bailey for hours
But brilliant smh comment suggested by the son. Super hilarious due to the fact (for those that don't get it amd went over their heads) 1. He's disappointed in the person and 2. He is literally shaking his head bc he has Parkinson's.
I hope Jimmy took notes about how he can manage a talk show...!!!
Jimmy is great without the fake laughing
No, he still sucks.
It's not fake. He is just a happy person.
I've always loved the mandola and mandolin. The sound they produce is so...pure (not really the word I'm looking for) that you don't even have to know how to play it. Obviously if you wand specific tunes, and all, but you can improvise a really lovely melody. I was at a Renaissance Faire and a minstrel let me play his. I told him I didn't know how to play, and he just said not to play it, but to explore it. Like thirty different people thought I was trained. I still can't really play the guitar, but I can fool Faire patrons into thinking I was the minstrel, while he went to take a break. Absolutely love that instrument.
Bill Bailey is so talented
No one is more naturally beautiful than Emily Blunt!
I vote Kate Beckinsale
Wait, Jimmy's story is EXACTLY like an episode of New Girl. Zooey Deschanel plays ping ping with prince and then just disappears
Yep. It made me think of it immediately. I think Sinead O'Connor also told a similar story.
Stolen comment moment?😂
Prince played a lot of celeb ping pong?
late to the responses but Prince requested his cameo in New Girl because he was a huge fan of the show and had a big say in what the story line for the episode would be, so I'm gonna say he was just a big ping pong fan 😂
I swear that Prince story sounds like Prince's sense of humor. He loved putting people in totally unbelievable situation knowing no one would believe the story. Think about Prince stories you've heard, they all sound totally unbelievable and that's the one common theme.
I love this show....it made my day
10 seconds into the clip and it's already clear how many light years ahead of Fallon Graham is :)
The end bit with the mandola made me cry hahahhaha
They should have added the fire alarm ringing after they showed Rege Jean's scene here 😂 Graham was like he is so hot he actually started a fire
The Prince story was just Amazing!!!!
the guy shreddin on his mandola !!! dope!!
Graham's face at the very beginning is me when somebody tells me they've never watched the Graham Norton show, seconds before I spontaneously combust
That guitar jam! Awesome
16:22 That smile has lit up my life.
Who is she?
@@md61211 Jessie Buckley
@@anneoever84 Thank you
His show has reaffirmed just how much I love British television and movies..sorry..haven't been to a British theater production yet!
Finally they changed that small tv behind him lol
Probably because they sometimes had guests calling in during the show and they didn,t look very good on Graham's old aquarium.
Irish reels=some of my ancestors Appalachian music! That was so good I wanted to hear more
Omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm done he wins the internet today👏👏👏👏❤
I felt like rapunzel dancing in the square when my guy played the mandola 😅💃🏽🤣
Daniel is an Awesome Actor.
Always thanks for setting up the English subtitles for us foreigners ❤️
To end that with such a treat! Thank you 🎶💃
On the Michael J. Fox bit I have to say, all this time I thought "SMH" meant "so much hate." Either way it still works 🤣.
@AyaTheLostOne Adams actually I didn't miss the empathetic part of the story and I also own 2 of Michael j. Fox's books so I actually know alot of his empathetic stories. Have you read "Always looking up" yet? I highly recommend it.
Wow the mandola dude was brilliant!
I love love love love love Michael J. Fox, always have been, even as a little child #mcflyFTW ❤️
Graham is such a chat show veteran now ❤️
Jimmy’s story … awesome
15:24 Bill sweeping back his invisible hair
Mandola - Irish reel at the end, aptly soothing closure for this compilation 🎶👏🏼👌🏼 ❤️ from #India 🇮🇳🎉✌🏼
Bill Bailey was freaking amazing!!!!
Graham needs a fan favorites or graham's favorite live performances throughout the years
damn marty. youre amazing
And it's Bill Bailey for the win everybody!
I. LOVE. this show!❤️❤️❤️
Who else is stuck in the never ending loop of The Graham Norton show 👀
Stuck in the never ending loop of this exact same comment. ;)
@@michaelhoward142 it will stop, once I leave... hehe
it's a deep vortex but you laugh all the way down
Who begs for likes?
Im sick of seeing this comment from you simp
Love the Mandelo Reel!
I don't know his name, but the man at the end, he killed it with that irish tune. I was clapping along with yall.
I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY.... AND NEITHER HAVE YOU...
16:30 I could listen to that kind of music all day long.
Rachel and Marcus? really ??? That Makes My Heart Swell!!! What a happy thing to know, she's hilarious and lovely, he's genuinely funny and handsome, I hope they're happy together for a Very Long Time. what a nice thing to know.
They met around April 2018, married September 2019, but I honestly thought it was longer than that. They're now both regulars, often together in the mythical "I'm sorry i haven't a clue" and it's always good fun. You're right, they belong to those happy "planet alignment" kind of couples that make total sense. Like David Mitchell And Victoria , Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
Jimmy Fallon’s Prince story 😂
@AyaTheLostOne Adams The story he told about them playing ping pong together.
I love this show!!!
I came in the speed of light
Great...now I need to learn to play an Mandola
Spin is super fun!
The bald man with the long hair is as always an awesome musician.
Bill Bailey
