DANGEROUS HIPPO BOW HUNTING.. He CHARGED US! | Josh Bowmar |

DANGEROUS BIG GAME HUNTING doesnt get more dangerous than a giant Free ranging tanzinia 8,000 lb hippo that was out for blood. This hippo was the most aggressive african animal we've ever seen charging us 5 times! but sealing the deal with a bow on such a giant animal is truly a bucket list hunt of mine, tho extremely dangerous hunt, no one was injured, Thank God.

    • @@gageboykin2866 I can't tell if you're trolling or not, but if you read even a chapter of the popular book that brought press to the sixth mass extinction event then you would likely know that amphibians are being lost the most quickly and due to chemical pollution and not hunting. You'd also probably know the difference between the word extinction and extension. If you want to save the world, go breed rare frogs and sue chemical companies. You'll also have to hunt the bull frog across about half the world.

  • Would love to hear how this animal gets processed. I've never heard of people eating or utilizing hippo parts, which I am sure people do, let alone hunt them.

    • @@BowmarBowhunting it looked like it even with the low shot you accepted your mistake and pushed on to put him down ethically. I've always wanted to hunt big exotics but I can experience it through your eyes. Can't wait to see the next adventure.

  • Probably one of the best hunting vidéos out there! Amazing to see the whole process, even the "miss shot", many would have skipped that part and just show the perfect heart shot! Also, as a wildlife artist but also a hunter, I consider ( personal opinion) that age is way better than inches, and I'm so glad you took the time with your PH to explain what characteristics makes him an old warrior, I ignored many of them and now will pay attention to them when drawing my next hippo! please do that more often! Thank you for sharing this adventure with.

  • That was one of the most intense videos/hunts I have ever witnessed! I felt every bit of the hunt through your documentation and the filming, the hair was standing up on the back of my neck for most of it. Great job keeping it together and being persistent! That was SICK! I dont think anything could top that ever...

  • Josh, I sincerely hope you take this as a compliment. As a southern mountains country dude, it would be easy for my backwoods self to disregard you as just another cool guy bro hunter. Happy to say I couldn’t be more wrong, and ignorant. I appreciate your reverence for your quarry and the passion you bring to your hunts. It is very down to earth, and very relatable. I really enjoyed how genuinely thrilled you were to talk about making some steaks and giving meat to the locals. I feel the same way with my dinky Appalachian whitetails lol. Appreciate what you do. Humbly grateful that my preconceived notions about you were shallow and wrong. Cheers buddy. I love how hunting brings people together . One of the main reasons I do it.

  • Would be great to see more of the processing. Such a rare thing to see so big of animal being processed to feed people. What did the processing reveal about the 1st and 2nd shots? Great hunt and videos. Liked and Subscribed!

    • @Paul Blart losers post stupid shit from the safety of their keyboard. Look up the word "conservation". These hunts bring essential funds to a very poor area and allows for better wildlife management plus tourism money to help keep other essential game safe. Educate yourself mate.

  • I watched from start to finish and I am not disappointed at all. I've always been fascinated by dangerous wild game hunting since I was a kid but back then you would only see pictures in magazines maybe some docuimentaries. Thankfully with new technologies like KZhead, these videos can be brought to us as if we were there with the hunter, literally mindblowing.
