Hello good people! So finally got a colorimeter for testing monitors and screens. I am still learning so hopefully can include better data later. Do you think MSI is doing right by pricing this monitor for 30k?
Looks like they compromised a lot of necessary stuff to bring the price down. Missing VESA mount will kill this monitor probably unless you're cool using a small riser to place the monitor
30k for THAT, would be a reach considering you could get comparable stuff for less. That missing VESA mount is a major gripe

amazing as usual ek ques ka ans khi nahi milta sunny bhai dcip3 gamut cinema me use hota h jo camera se shoot krke edit krta h log profile me wo to rec 709 use krta h na fir uske lie to ye better nahi h editing me however dcip3 is a wider color gamut than rec 709 but i don't think so jis monitor me rec 709 gamut nahi h wo straight out of the camera color accuracy de paega log profile ki, aapke views kya h isme btana q ki iska ans mujhe internet me mila hi nahi monitor me srgb h dcip3 h and everyone says its good for video ediitng but if it lacks the gamut can we still edit and get the color accuracy of rec 709 of log profiles?
rec709 aur srgb almost similar hai. 99.9% similar. So 100% srgb kaafi hai kisi bhi type ki editing ke lie. And dci p3 bahut kam use hota hai aur sirf projectors ke liye use hota hai.

Hello Mana, recently my 5 year old monitor broke and I'm looking for a new monitor, watched your budget 1080 monitor showdown video and opted to buy a MSI monitor but MSI decided to confuse me even more. So basically MSI have three monitors available at the kind of exact price, the G2412, the G2422 and the G244F. Can you please suggest me the best option out of these if possible! For my use case, I'll use it for gaming and basic video editing. Please answer if possible 🙏
the g244f will be the best. It has an adjustable stand
@@HardwareMana I don't think that the G244F offers an adjustable stand though. Also, I already have a gas-spring monitor arm so the stand being adjustable or not is the least of my worries

Both will be fine. Get the cheaper one
tryout ray tracing graphics on your friend's computer or some gaming cafe and findout of its for you or not, i personally would prefer ray tracing over 5-10% raw performance because honestly any of these will get you above 60 fps on highest graphics but as these get older dlss and frame gen will make 4060ti better, fsr just isnt as good as dlss irl and if you plan on video rendering/ cad/etc then amd just isnt for you

go with a benq pd series or asus proart they provide 2k monitors with wide color gamut for 4k you will have to pay more both benq and asus pro art have 4 k series too do check them
You can consider samsung IPS options or even Benq if you have the cash
