So yeah spoilers if you haven’t watched episode 5, but I’m only talking about a very small portion of the episode, so I don’t think it’ll completely ruin your experience so feel free to stay.

  • Ooh I didn't notice this in the episode! Great video. The parallel between Maeve and Crimson Countess was amazing ( plus how they're both redheads and their "lover" is the ideal American hero). Pls make more vids on The Boys!

  • I think that in homelanders case this was more to do with vaught, I dont think homelander is capable of love because he is a narcissist so can only love himself. I think soldier boy was slightly different he was the arrogant jock in high school, i don't think he thought he was actually bullying the other heroes that they were "playing" in there own way, i think this is more a credit to the actor but he was an ego trip but he was human too which is why he was actually hurt by this whereas homelander wasn't, I dont think he could have cared whether mave loved him or not

    • Exactly my point, thank you! They can't even realize that they weren't bullying or threatening people bc that's just how they were raised, which is sad in both ways to them and the people they were oppressing.
