  • A really simple fault that requires a visual inspection to find the real problem. The other garages probably failed as it wouldn't show up on their computer. Nice fix👍

  • Nice video. Same problem with my Peugeot partner tepee: cleaning , remove the rusty parts and fit the sensor. Check the opposite wheel sensor.

  • I think the term is rust jacking not jacketing,good diagnosis though

  • the wife was having a problem with her car sensors but it was the relucter ring on the front we did that and I went to delete the fault and the fault was still there but shifted to the back it was exactly the same problem reluctor ring had come of and floating free so two stub axels later it is now alright , thanks for the video

  • It's french so you probably need to replace the clutch for the brakes to work.😂

  • I agree, the aftermarket sensor could be fine but why take the chance when you're going to have to play a game of Twister with a dirty rusty steering knuckle.

  • Why not just stick a Dremel in to clean it up,the new sensor may work but for now until rust reforms, clean it up and stick a lump of grease on it

  • will the wheel bearing clip cause issue or as such interference with the pick up point?

    @wildfruits477@wildfruits47715 күн бұрын
    • Good question. Normally I don't think the wheel bearing clip position should interfere with the sensor, but it depends on the hub design. If I am changing a wheel bearing, I note the position of clip. In this case, was the wheel bearing previously changed, which may have affected the original sensor? More questions!

    • @@konradc12 My c4 grand Picasso keeps showing front abs but then sometimes it will go of then on then of, if the pick up ring was damaged it wouldn’t work at all correct? Also i’ve noticed the wheel bearing clip is a fraction by the abs sensor

  • Double nut on the tie rod? You don't need when you have Rust-tite© lol Use a small, sharp chisel and a tiny hammer to chip away the layers iron oxide, get to clean metal, and slather it with rust inhibitor of choice.
