Bertie and Barb are cuteness overload, and I think that cow is my spirit animal right now 😂🐮 I think cross-stitch conversions are a great idea for those who like a challenge. I, however, have zero patience at the best of times and, quite frankly (and as many of us from the UK frequently and eloquently say), I can't be arsed with the faff! I've been learning to crochet for nearly two years now, so with diamond painting I want the path of least resistance 😵💫 I have a lot of admiration for people who have the brain power to take them on, unfortunately, I'm not one of them 😆🧶✨️
Yeah, cross stitch conversions are a completely different thing altogether. I really thought that I was going to enjoy the process, but I'm really not gravitating towards it. Too much faff, like you say. 😂
Hi Kim, My favourite is your Flamingo City image, it is just beautiful! I am one of those people who decided that cross stitch conversions were not something I was interested in trying. I want to listen to an audiobook or a KZhead video and diamond paint. I don't want to have to think and count and measure out tiny sections. I have a friend who is doing a cross stitch conversion challenge and she is loving it. I'm so happy for her, but absolutely nothing draws me at all to trying my hand at it. I collect my leftover drills and hope that I have a colour if I am every short. That's it. Back to your other images, they are all coming along nicely and I'm happy to watch whatever video you want to post. They are all great in my opinion. Hugs from Canada.
Hey Nance. Well, I think you made the right call about cross stitch conversions. They do require concentration and energy. It's a completely different process to a normal diamond painting. And I'm not sure it's for me either. In all honesty, I'm not sure how much further I'm going to get with this one before I decide to throw in the towel. 😭

@@myhappyplacewithkime1430 I keep meaning to send that in to turn into a diamond painting but DAC has demolished me this month 😂 they released almost every one of my “break a no buy kits” on the video I did. I swear they must have watched it and developed a game plan 🤣. Oh well I got wonderful kits I wanted and I plan on doing it next month instead
@@DiamondsAreAGirlsBestFriend16 That's awesome! I've been very good with DAC lately. I haven't ordered anything. There have been a few that I've loved, but I'm not loving the massive sizes. They're just too big for me. 😂. Hoping we see some extra releases for their Anniversary! And in manageable sizes.
My prior comment didn't post. Don't know why. Just wanted to say both Flamingo City and Glowing Halloween are amazing, only in different ways! And that cross stitch conversion isn't the same process as diamond painting on a printed canvas! It's work to me rather than relaxation. And that Kim, you could never be boring!😊

Absolute pleasure and I really hope you have fun working on it! Out of interest, how many colours does yours have? I'm very curious to see if there's much difference to the end result by more colours. As mentioned in the video, mine has 42. I think you mentioned to me that yours has in the 50's, correct? ❤️

I really look forward to your videos----all of them! I hesitated buying into cross stitch conversions, knowing that they may be too intensive for my liking. I finally purchased a Christmas Advent Calendar from Diamond Art Club UK, thinking that I could handle a small little square at a time. I made it to the second day, before I gave up. I took a deep breath, rolled it up and put it away. Hopefully I will find someone some day to give it to. Conversions are not for everyone. I have received my Flamingo City canvas, and it is kitted up. I will keep you informed!
Oh, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one having a problem with my cross stitch conversion. 😂. I actually think it's happening to lots of people. As for Flamingo City, I can't wait to hear about your experience. Please definitely send me a completion photo once you've managed to finish it. ♥️
Hi Kim, always love your wip parades. I totally agree with you on Dreamer Designs. I just finished my first post detox square from them. I also had a bit of gapping, but it didn't put me off. I personally will continue to buy square drills from Dreamer Designs.
Hi friend. Yeah, that's exactly how I feel too. I think there is room for improvement, but it isn't that bad that I won't buy from them. There's some gapping but it isn't atrocious. ❤️

Aaaah the bertie & barb is soooo cute!! And yep.. I maybe am one of those KZheadrs who have been talking about Dreamer Designs squares and had sworn them off. I have one square of them left in my stash and probably will do that on eventually. But no more new squares for me 😢 I did however buy 2 of their round drill kits last week, from Romi Lerda, also thanks to your recommendation of their rounds. Can't wait to try! ❤
Oooh, I can't wait to hear what you think of their rounds. Please definitely let me know! And yeah, you aren't the only one who has sworn off their squares, so don't feel lonely. 😂. I've heard that often.

Unfortunately I don't. People only get to see them in my videos. I do plan on filming a video where I share all the ones that I've completed to date, but I still need to get all my canvasses together and sort out the "admin" before I can film that one. ♥️
