    • Most actors do. It's a shame people dump on them so much because they're rich - unlike a lot of inherited-wealth rich kids, most successful actors legit start from nothing and eventually get a big break. (And most never get a break and are poor their whole careers, sadly. It's a tough business.)

Like the shuffle at the start: there's a big pile left from the top half to make sure the top cards are unchanged The 3 piles: middle pile are the top 1/3rd of the deck etc... he just has fun with it. In the end, he simply places the card at the bottom of the small pile that he places between Wil-I-am's knuckles... When you smack it like that, the bottom card is always the 1 card that remains.

  • For anyone who wants to know (and the reason he said it only works 50% of the time) if you notice at the very beginning when Will I Am puts the card back in the middle deck he puts it face up (about 8:37 in) when the entire rest of the deck is face down. This makes it super easy to find the correct card and hide it for the latter part of the trick. The skillful part here is how he manages to get the correct card back in the set of cards he puts in wills hand at the end and the "slapping" motion to get the rest of the cards knocked away but the Ace. Edit: My guess also is that the reason you have the person put the other 2 cards face up on the top of the two side stacks is to sort of mentally program the person to be more likely to put their card face up when they put it back in the middle deck.

    @kutark@kutark2 жыл бұрын
    • Agreed Will I am made a mistake BUT Chris already has the trick set up with two 4 's on the top of the deck (the 4's add to of turn and turn 4 chances) and the ace is the third card down. The shuffle at the start is done so all these cards remain on top and when the piles are laid out the 3rd pile in the middle is the top of the deck. I can't work out how he sorts the ace into the mix at the end though......
