Actually, Old Candy and the Rat really had a humming sound when they're at the doorway, however, it only works on original version of FNaC, on Remastered it was removed. So the wiki didn't lied on that, it's just an outdated info.
Really? Would have been cool if they kept it in I think it's a nice touch
Do they have footsteps also? im not sure
Actually I think it’s still in the remastered version it is just up to random chance if it plays. I played the game recently and heard a humming sound when Rat was at the door in 20 mode. I wasn’t aware that you could hear them at that point so it wasn’t me misremembering.
@@rubo009 they have, but only if you ACTUALLY saw animatronic movement on cameras 04 or 06, otherwise sound of footsteps doesn't play
but i actually heard a diffrence betweem the audios, not humming , just a diffrence, and i got it right , so maybe emil just made it quieter
How the community of five nights at candy's doesn't know how the AI works is wild tbh. Like of all the games that no one knows how the ai works, it's this one
Either this game is weirdly complex, or could just be a case of like "oh well, Im sure someone else already did, so why should I?" that just kept happening, I mean I doubt it's that hard to just data mine the game right? FNAC might be popular but because its not FNAF, A LOT less people in general even care about trying to data mine it, so I guess I can see why.
@@timothyt666hopefully when it gets it’s console port (please don’t cuck this game fnaf community) and mobile and steam ports hopefully someone will try a Analysis on the AI of this game and Candy’s 2,3,4 and and furr because yes :3
It was made in the literal same engine as FNAF and we can date a mine that I just don't think people have bothered@@timothyt666
It's even worse with the second game I reckon. With the lack of a Custom Night, you can't even experiment to try and figure it out. I remember also being shocked when I found out, folks have discovered the AI levels in FNaF, but not FNaC?

The problem you came across is because all of the information on the wiki was made for the original version of the game. In the remastered, the humming sound and the blue tint in the darkness were both removed since they served little purpose in a normal run.
That's weird, cause I *can* tell the difference with the humming. It's barely audible, but it's a low hum, kinda like if someone was running a microwave a few rooms away
Yeah, I remember way back watching vids of the original and the humming is VERY noticeable if you have the game at any decent volume

The fact that blank literally spent the entire night smashing your metal window cover, then busted your glass only to get bored and leave you in the dark is crazy.
He went "I thought you were stronger" to the glass.
"fuck this window in particular"
Getting back at the little shits that draw penises on him by vandalizing the nearest window
41:01 blank must of hit his head too hard on the glass and passed out
The whole “Blank just not attacking thing” actually happened to me on 7/20 mode as well, except he broke my window at like 4am, so I was just sitting in the darkness for over 2 minutes before I won. It has to be some kind of bug, perhaps exclusive to the custom night? Idk.
I know in some FNAF games the max ai value isnt actually 20 and instead like 7 or 8 even if you set it at 20. I assume it's an issue where the numbers effects its kill phase because it breaks whatever equation is meant to test it.
@@Mrdestiny17 i think in fnaf 2 Foxy has the highest AI value at like 17 or something and the others have less AI.

He walked into the kitchen and forgot what he was doing until the alarm went off. 😂
Love how that you keep this video entertained by narrating what is up with the game mechanic and how Animatronics responded while not viewing the cameras.
I'd like to imagine that in that 7/20 attempt Blank broke through the window and fought off everyone trying to get at you as some sort of act of redemption for making the challenge difficult

This is what makes FNAF such a gem for it's time. The subtle sound cues everytime the animatronics move is actually a really nice but unnoticed addition until it's gone. This game lacking the sound cues makes the game feel a bit... Empty. And it's apparent in this challenge.
Yeah the sound is important… though it might give away too much in this game’s case
@@theastonvillaseal585 just a simple footstep sound cue can make or break the immersion, make them all uniform, but differentiate between the new animatronic and old. That way, it doesn't really give out clues on which one moved, but you know something moved. Also the animatronic banging the glass wall should make the sound, it doesn't make sense when it's banging repeatedly against the wall without making a sound.
when i played i noticed theres sometimes a footstep sound when the cindy or candy walk up to ur door but idk if its there for the other animatronic
@@dougnate7960 yeah
nah, it actually makes you so you have to use the camera, which I would assume it's the whole damn point of the game. The challenge is cool, but it shows that they made the cameras important to gameplay.

I have an idea for FNaF World, actually. Though, I have literally zero idea how possible this is. How about, beating every single ending (yes, including the Rainbow ending) WITHOUT using the Halloween update characters (Jack'O Bonnie, Jack'O Chica, Nightmarionne, Nightmare BB, etc). I'd absolutely dig to see a video like this and I love your content! Keep up the great work!
That's a really interesting idea!!! I've been wondering if I should do a FNAF World challenge or just skip it. Although if I did this would definitely be a cool one to check out!
Only problem is how you'd do enough damage to rainbow without Halloween characters. Even with them it's not easy and the damage difference between base game and Halloween is insane. Most bosses can be one or two shot by Halloween characters at level 1 while rainbow takes most of the time limit. Mixed with the constant damage you take due to the poison, I don't see how you'd ever have enough damage, let alone while also keeping the team alive. Without the time limit I could see it being possible, albeit difficult, but the rainbow fight is hard due to the time limit + insane health pool. And I think rainbow is the only boss in the game that can't be unscrewed (hence why slasher just deals max damage) All the other endings are easily doable without Halloween characters. Typical endgame teams like Funtime Foxy, Nightmare, Spring Bonnie, Golden Freddy with backup gift boxes in team 2 can beat chipper no problem.
imagine dieing and the soulja boy still playing 😂💀
I recall Spiff doing a FNAF World challenge with just starting characters. I wonder if there would be some way to take that and restrict it further? I don't know much about the game, though.

Cheers, I've been binge watching these for days now lol
If you listen closely, you can actually hear the faint sound of footsteps when an animatronic arrives at a door. They're easy to miss, but in a challenge like this, it could help a lot, and it's helped me quite a bit, even in a normal playthrough. The only downside is that I think there's still no indication of Blank moving, but your strategy with him still seems to work alright. Oh, and also, you can hear the footsteps through the door, too. So, if animatronic is at a door, you close it, and another animatronic arrives to take its place, you can still hear it through the door, not muffled. Anyway, thats just a little tip/fact from me :)

I can’t wait for your next video, beating Ultra Custom Night 745/20 without a computer.
19:30 I actually could hear a difference! I heard the the shuffling/humming sound in the first clip! I'm also AuDHD and am really, _really_ sensitive to subtle sounds, _especially_ electrical humming type sounds. The sound Old Candy makes is almost... underneath the regular buzzing of the office, if that makes sense. The normal buzz sits on top, and almost blankets the Candy noise. It's _extremely_ subtle. I definitely can see someone who isn't sensitive to those kinds of sounds being completely unable to hear the Old Candy noises under the normal office buzz. But there actually was an audible difference!
Also might not actually be in every instance of the animatronic attacking I can see a slight white blur in the door in screenshot one
I’ve heard it too.
God Damn.
I KNEW I HEARD IT
Although I missed it on ny first try, I definitely heard the difference at not even the max possible audio.

Just a suggestion about Blank not killing you for over 36 seconds in custom night. I can't tell if you did actually open that left door at the same time the scene changed to the special secondary scene where it shows the front window broken before you're jumpscared, but if you did, there's a chance that the left door had an animatronic in it and between the time of that scene playing and Blank actually jumpscaring you to end the night, another animatronic at the door tried to kill you with its movement opp instead, which isn't possible because you're not on the correct game scene to push the Jumpscare event from anyone else but Blank, but Blank also can't jumpscare you because the other animatronic queued it first, making you effectively invincible because they're being too polite and trying to let one another kill you first. TLDR - Its plausible the game tried to kill you in a way it couldn't because of how Blank's jumpscare works, causing everything to shatter into pieces. Sick video btw, love your challenge runs
I've now rewatched this for the fifth time and i still cant stop.
same
These challenge videos are so fun, subbed from the Post Shift 2 video and going through the rest now. Your videos are incredible background audio, keep it up!
i looked at how movement opportunities work in fnac r (for candy at ai 20) for anyone wondering: candy's max movement timer ranges from 180 to 300 frames (3 to 5 seconds) and changes every second when the timer hits 0, candy moves if 20 >= (a random number from 0 to 25 - number of failed movement opportunities) failed movement opportunities gets reset when candy moves, and the timer gets set to whatever the max timer is at the moment so even though candy is at max ai, it still has a chance of not moving
imagine being the suppostedly "main atagonist" of the game yet even on max ai you have a chance of not moving unlike the 6 others

So i assumed you would listen to audio and pay attention for the eyes. I know i got extremely lucky with Blank. And Rat was a pain to beat but i got lucky and beat the game without ever knowing how to use the camera
Dang

Task failed successfully?
It is always fascinating to see the things people can do without a crucial tool, just because they didn't realize they were missing something they "needed"
i have a feeling that with the introduction of the op strat, it kinda looks like its easier to play the game without cams rather than playing the game as intended.
i swear i could hear the tiniest difference between one clip and the other, but my hearing sucks so i'm sure its the placebo effect.
This video was fricking hilarious. I hope you make more of these. I don't know if you will ever see this but if you do please respond. I love your humor it's perfect.
FNaC is extremely easy. It takes like 3 attempts to beat 7/20 mode. But this challenge actually makes it hard..... If you don't know the strat of closing the doors until they hit 2 bars then opening them then closing repeat and repeat. Chickenninja didn't choose the easy way and instead went for his classic M.E.T.H route. Making easy things hard.
Take a shot any time he explains movement opportunities, you'll probably end up in the hospital.
Best video so far since new year
Got a tip for anyone who wants to use it in uphead Converge can make the first phase of phantom express almost impossible to get hit on as long as you fully converge the shots
42:30 You see ChickenNinja, my theory for why blank didn't kill you right away was likely because he had a heart attack as he was coming to kill you. An unfortunate event you see.
The 37 seconds after Blank broke the window, they were like: Nah, let's give him his w, its very impressive that he isnt using his cameras, like, at all.
You ever say a word so much it stops being a word? Yeah, that's animatronic right now for me.
I always thought that, I said a word so many times it felt like it didn't exist
Actually, for the old candy, you can see a *very* slight blue light near the button door, and for the humming, you can hear in the first clip it dulls down for around a second then goes back to normal humming, while the second is just normal humming
It's funny how the main strategy to beating 7/20 basically is the OP strat, but with slight camera usage. (At least when I did it.)
Now you gotta play Five nights at Candy’s 2 without having an aneurysm Also the op strat Yo I got it
When your screaming terrifies me more than the jumpscares do lol
So irrelevant but I paused the video at 6:47 having a perfectly cut scream and honestly that was the funniest shit ever, or maybe it's because it is the middle of the night.
I thought I was an absolute master after clearing 7/20 mode, every preset in the CN menu and Night 8 (Or Night Null, Shadow Challenge, whatever you wanna call it) on the unofficial mobile port of this game. However now I don't anymore considering THIS LEGEND succeeded again in what he loves: doing challenges that sound impossible on paper and emerging victorious by some holy miracle. Anyway huge props to you dude, what you've accomplished is truly remarkable
41:00 probably has to do with the fact that the window was smashed instead of a door, meaning that the game gives only blank the priority for the fact that he didn´t kill you is probably just a bug. I don´t know what could have caused this, but a theory of mine could be that every 4.5 seconds blanks attack stage goes up by one (resets to 0 if you manage to stop him), however It may have gone beyond what it is supposed to reach (lucky timing, 7/20 glitch, the position of your camera , idk) and the game just only didn´t knew what it should do and waited for blank to go back to it´s kill state (which he would never) and because blank has priority nobody could kill you. Or maybe it´s a secret feature that you discovered and everything I said is just misinformation. Who knows?
I found it funny when you made that noise after you got attacked by papa candy. EUHWAH
my guess for the final strat is that either he’s counting the seconds until an animatronic reaches his door, closes the door, he waits until there’s a window for him to open it, waits until it’s been enough time for the next animatronic to get there and close it again. or he’s just going to close left, close right, open left, open right, and repeat this while following the strategy from always to close and open the window
When he beat 7/20, it made me remember this one time I watched some other youtuber play through FNAF2. He was doing all of the custom night challenges up until the 20/20 one. He died a ton of times there, way too many, so many that, in one attempt, his game had conveniently “glitched” in a way that all animatronics just vanished at the start of the night and he ended the video like “hell yeah, we beat the night, so cool” lol
Who?
Who?

What is “glitched” supposed to mean
FNaC3 blindfolded or without sound would be absolute pain, i'm totally down to see how this series goes, keep up with the good work man, these types of video are my favorite content of FNaF games and you're probably the only one who does that for every game
Blindfolded sounds like a literal madness
without sound doesn’t sound too bad, blindfolded seems super tedious tho
@@SewerWater2since I don't how Ai works there (just turning left to right and right to left to see rat's position and flashing cat out of here), and the thing that I rarely use casette player, makes soundless game a bit difficult (but not up to impossible). The bigger problem is reaction time, especially on Winnie and Shadow rat
Blindfolded would be literally impossible as you have to see where the Rat (and later Vinnie) moves their head (and Vinnie his entire body) to keep the flashlight on them. And neither of them have any sound cues beyond the lack of sound when you're not centered on their head. And given that those movements are random enough as to not be easily predicted, you would basically immediately lose on the first interaction 95% of the time, or have to be insanely lucky. You MIGHT be able to get by if you can keep them from coming into the room at all, but I don't know how likely that is. If there were any cues as to where they moved in relation to the flashlight (or when Vinnie moves his position by the bed) I would say it's possible, but unfortunately not. Soundless is possible, though, considering it's...largely the same as FNaF4 (I mean not really, but close enough).

If theres a movement opportunity of 4-5 seconds, with a few opportunities at the start skipped over to prevent being destroyed early on, thats consistent with typical RNG and being a decently high level (maybe 13-15?)
I heard the difference in Clip 1. In regular gameplay, there'd be no way, but with max volume there's an extra hum layered beneath the ambient room noise.
I heard a click but no hum so ???
if you did hear something different, then its just a coincidence because the game plays different ambient sounds throughout the night
@@amongsussyballs I offer you a solid shrug in response.
almost at 300k congrates
I love how blank fails to break the window and then has an existential crisis back in his room
I like how five nights at candys puts itself in some sort of fan cannon of the main series like with it taking place right after fnaf 2 and having the night gaurds name be mary schmidt Its kinda interesting to see the connections between the 2 timelines
One thing I feel was missed out on regarding Null Night was the existence of Origami Cat. On the wiki, it says that it is on your desk at the start of night, but disappears when Shadow Candy jumpscares you. I found it interesting because there is a mechanic where if you find Origami Cat ON THE CAMERAS (unfortunate), it will undo the time rewind and power drain done from the jumpscare, and reappear on your desk. The process can be redone each time Shadow Candy jumpscares you, making Night Null a much easier time. ONLY IF IT WASN'T RESTRICTED TO THE CAMERAS
he mentioned that there was a method of recovering power that required the night, and then showed the origami cat
Congrats on 300k
The OP Strategy, as always..
Rat and old candy used to make a humming noise (i dont think the color suggestion was real) but was removed because it was too easy to track them, defeating the purpose of being eyeless
the fact he did this with no cams is crazy and his knowledge of these games is insane!
32:42 “The odds of this happening are very very low” *dies*
I missed how funny you are 😭❤️
This is straight pain and torture, I love it! Great video and amazing job with handling FNaC without cams!
I was thinking that you would do a specific pattern to beat 7/20, because knowing that the animatronics attack at a stablished pattern could make a perfectly crafted strategy a great counter.
the blank be having a cramp
So relatable when I use Google and Google is like I'm sorry we don't have the information you're looking for
