Just to respond to Ferguson, this war is not only important because of Ukraine, but also because it's against Russia, that makes this conflict stand out from other current conflicts. It's a war with huge global implications.
Good to see Fareed moderating .. Slava Slava Slava ..
Ìt is wonderful how competition brings out so much compassion. The change in the balance of world power has occurred.
1) DON`T MIX UP GOVERNMENT OPINIONS AND PEOPLE OPINIONS - in China nobody can openly have an anti-government-opinion, same in Iran, N.Korea, Syria, SaudiArabia, all Arabia in fact. 2) In countries like Brasil, India, South Africa, Nigeria etc. the intelligence level of average population is quite low and can be easily influenced by their governments. Same problem in Russia - rural Russians are spending most time with wodka and not with mental education.
And the intelligence of the average citizen is so much better ?
...And the average intellligence level of the average Trump supporter is quite high?
So what is wrong with that? Let countries govern themselves and work with international partners in their own best interest. Americans are amongst the most less informed people about other country's culture, tradition and history in the world!!!! Like wise most western countries citizens. Most citozems former colonised States in the global south know exactly every thing horrid about their former colonisers 😅
@@andyabuteo6084 These countries are not "governing themselves" - they are in the hand of a few mafia gangsters. But it seems you do not have the intellect to understand this.
Damn….could you be anymore condescending? It’s attitude’s like yours that make ppl not want to support Ukraine.
YES ITS TRUE, SUPPORTING YOU IS SUPPORTING US 🇺🇸
And its true that everyone sees how fake USA is and hates the whole western world.
It is not a matter of being on one side or the other but of solving a conflict for which there are various reasons.. These reasons are unfortunately not known in public..
I guess you were asleep on Feb. 24, 2022. If we are not on Ukraine's side it will perish. To say it's a conflict because of various issues is disingenuous. Countries always have various issues but Russia invaded Ukraine on that day in an attempt to overthrow its government. Russia has been illegally occupying parts of Ukraine since 2008. These facts are crystal clear.
Who is the black lady,? One can only describe her as fantastic.
Ukraine is leading the thought on how to deliver decolonisation. Non western world countries, some of them for sure, might be able to relate to that development and might be able to enter into mutually beneficial exchanges with Ukraine. I suspect this is incredibly important to all of us, including Canadians and our reconciliation efforts with our indigenous peoples.
Decolonization movements in the second half of the 20th century, in Africa and Asia had frequently relevant communist componenents and were supported by the Soviet Union. It could correctly be argued that the Soviet Union was an empire, but so was the USA, and in the Cold War many third-world countries prefered to support the former.
Ukraine is the unfortunate brainwashed looser that actually wants to be colonialized - in 21st century. That is obvious world over.
@@coe3408russian empire never skinned alive residents of its satelites - which is a documented frequent occurence among all of european empires. Russia hust built schools and established trade, anglo-saxons - tricked, robbed and enslaved.
Businessmen from all over the world who invest the money they make from selling grain in the EU (destroying European farmers) instead of taking it to where it is needed in Asia and Africa.
Brave Comfort Ero! ❤
We're not voting and deciding whether they have wright to defend their county !!! And fight!!!

Former policy maker? Once a policy maker always a policy maker.
Why is youtube not recording likes?
I am child of 50s & 60s, to me it is not about Democracy or liberal it about bread & butter is about foods, shelter & my family. What the Western rhetoric are ironical, Ukraine is Ukraine problems that not my problems. Yes I am affected indirectly. So what if Ukraine win thus that better my life.
Russian escalation is far more dangerous than the nuclear sabre rattling, that is bringing chaos to other parts of the world simultaneous with their war in Ukraine. We become distracted by these adventures for good reason, even the exact same reason that we are committed to Ukraine. We feel, justly so, the need to be committed to these other peoples of the world.
15:15 now this one makes sense. The only way to solve this issue is to look at the root cause of the problem. If we just blame Russia and we think that's all. This war will never end. All wars going on around the world should be looked at and ask ourselves really why.
Just sit back and ask why?-----Why?-----Why?
That's a great idea, let's just talk about it while the Ukrainians are being killed and their cities destroyed as Russia tries to overthrow their government and steal their resources. I'm glad you're not in charge of running my government.
That easy the ones that think pigs can fly
The largest democracy in the world? What an achievement! What is the achievement? Not using contraceptives? They do not have any sort of infrastructure in India.
There are no roads, schools or electricity in India?
They have a fantastic very extensive rail system built by the British and old but reliable rolling stock
@@bigcoolviking :)) That they can not fix for centuries and people constantly die in derailment accidents. Not funny.
Maybe you should stop watching old documentaries, the Indians have high speed rail links now. and miles of new lines, In fact the Indian Railway is the biggest employer in the world@@quantumeseboy
@@bigcoolviking Not a giant sh*thole anymore? Wow! Great to hear :)
Only the black lady is saying something meaningful but she will be ignored as usual.
Propaganda
Terrible moderator...theres just this unspoken fake and self interested vibe the fareed guy from cnn... the fact that he was caught plagarizing and yet returned back his job as if something happen speaks volume to not just his character but his conscience...
U r being disingenuous. Fareed made an unintentional MISTAKE. Have you ever done that? Btw: Nominated five times for the National Magazine Award, and won it once, for his columns and commentary. Won a Peabody Award Nominated for several Emmys. Conferred India Abroad Person of the Year 2008 award. Honorary degrees from Harvard University, Brown University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Miami, Oberlin College, Bates College, and the University of Oklahoma among others. Classic whataboutism. I guess since you don't like the message you want to shoot the messenger. This isn't about Fareed.
Russia.

Unevenness in the International system? Is she a child? Things will never be equal, even, or fair. Big boys with the large armies and economies will set the rules that we will all play by, grow up madam.
