Al-Kahf (Arabic: الكهف‎) is the 18th chapter (Surah) of the Quran consisting of 110 verses.
It tells the story of the believers in ancient time who when received the message of Truth accepted it. However, they were to face retaliation from the society they lived in and hence the flee from the city and found protection in a cave where Allah Almighty gave them sleep that lasted for centuries and till then their whole city had converted into believers. This Surah gives the message that those who believe in Allah, and ask for protection from Him, He gives them the best protection the likes of which the world has never seen.
“Whoever reads Surah al Kahf on the day of Jummah will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” (al-Jaami)
“One who memorized the first ten verses of Surah al Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).”
Surah al Kahf is one of the renowned Surahs of Quran. Besides giving the message of Allah protecting those in miraculous ways who stick to righteousness and stay on the right path, the Surah also comes with a variety of virtues. It helps one expatiate from sins, gain blessings of Allah Almighty and prepare one’s self for the end of days. Therefore, every Muslim man and woman must try getting into the habit of reciting Surah al Kahf on regular bases.

Note: While reading in Arabic, be aware that the computer renders the font slightly differently in case of 'Shaddah'. Fatah/Zabr appears above Shadda (e.g اللَّهِ) while Kasrah/Zer appears below Shaddah and not the actual letter (e.g رَبِّ).

    • MashAllah tabarkAllah , i wish I can too be Hafiz! I do remember my most of my life since 2013 Alhamdulillah its a just blessing from my Allah SWT!!   • A person said "Allahu Akbar" seconds later they said "La ila ha illalala" immediately after that they said "La illaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu min-adh zalimeen" a few seconds later then said "Subhanallah" this way 70,000 good deeds were earned, and this person is you ❤️

  • I am suffering with very high fever, I am alone in hostel my brain not work that what I do then but ALLAH is always with anyone I hear this surah very carefully.
