Prashant Kishor Latest Interview | PK's Lok Sabha Prediction: East, South Warning For Opposition
Prashant Kishor Interview: Less than two weeks before the general election, poll strategist Prashant Kishor sounded a red alert for the Congress and INDIA opposition bloc, warning of improved performances - seats + vote share - by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party across six eastern and southern states.
Mr Kishor - who has guided the Congress, the Trinamool, and the Aam Aadmi Party to wins over the Prime Minister's BJP - repeated his warnings of the past - that the ruling party is not invincible.
But he also warned the opposition it is running out of chances to stop the BJP juggernaut, pointing to a string of missed opportunities between 2016 and 2018, as well as the pandemic. "If you drop catches, the batter will score a century... especially if he is a good batter," he told news agency PTI.

India aims to halt urea imports by the end of 2025, as increased domestic production bridges the demand-supply gap, according to Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Mandaviya emphasised the significance of fertilisers for Indian agriculture, noting the nation’s 60-65-year history of using chemical fertilisers to boost crop yields. The government is now championing alternative fertilisers like nanoliquid urea and nanoliquid di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) for better crop and soil health. Mandaviya detailed the Modi government’s strategy to achieve urea self-sufficiency, including reviving closed urea plants and boosting domestic production capacities. Presently, India needs approximately 350 lakh tonnes of urea annually, with current domestic production at 310 lakh tonnes, up from 225 lakh tonnes in 2014-15. The aim is to produce around 325 lakh tonnes annually post-commissioning of a new plant, targeting the replacement of 20-25 lakh tonnes of conventional urea with nanoliquid urea. Mandaviya confidently stated that by 2025, India’s urea import dependency will cease, with the import bill reducing to zero. Additionally, he highlighted the government’s efforts in ensuring fertiliser availability and managing prices for farmers, including the recent allocation of a fertiliser subsidy of Rs 1.64 lakh crore for 2024-25. I have been observing interviews of PK.I n my opinion earlier PK used to be biased to a particular party may be because he was a strategist and had a contract with that party and being paid by that party ..mwhich is obvious. In the new role of PK I find his statements and interviews quite bold and confident.I find that his quality of expressing has improved a lot and he seems to walk the talk. I liked his free and fair style of expression.Itis Great!
