I can't do short nails anymore. I just cut down my nails. They're still about an inch longer than my fingertips, but they seem so short to me! My husband thinks I'm crazy. I could have written this comment! LOL definitely sucks. I have good luck with HEMA-free products. I've been doing acrylic for several months now, and I finally found an odorless, HEMA-free monomer. And now I'm wanting to go back to gel! At least I know what to look for now.
