I’d complain about no SD card a lot before I’d complain about a plastic back. Marketing tricked people into believing that glass is “premium” and plastic is bad. In reality, glass backs are just one more thing to worry about breaking!
Thank you have a nice day
but isn't true than glass dissipates heat better than plastic? iirc plastic is not a good thermal conductor so heat keeps inside phone's body longer
@@dbrugan That could be true. I just hate then they talk about how “premium” it is.
@@dbrugan I like Galaxy but I like iPhone better it just seems to run smoother I was just looking at this I am on the iPhone SE tail and thinking about upgrading to the iPhone 12 mini 13 mini Or the galaxy S 21 haven’t made up my mind thanks

Yo bro I just wanted to say; You're really the only cell phone person doing a good job of whether or not phones are still good in the modern-day and I definitely appreciate having somebody's professional opinion on the matter. 😎👍
I might buy this phone second hand its pretty cheap nowadays and has really good specs compared to the phones near its price range
So did you buy it ?
@@syedrafath2062 I just bought mine, its coming in a week. Please remind me to give you an update.
@@syedrafath2062probably not
Its a good phone No one will go wrong buying it in 2023
Note 8 finally cracked. So...grabbed a renewed S21 for about $300. I'll take near flagship specs and updates for another two years at a lower than mid tier price.
Good deal sir! Im looking to buy one without a single scratch for €275. I have the iphone 7 now so its going to be a huuuge upgrade ;)
I do like the plastic since I drop mine a lot. It had issues from the get-go, and I've had since it came out. It's a love hate thing, the biggest issue I have is constant cellular connection failures and (probably due to age) piss poor battery life even if I hardly touch the phone. But with how many times I've dropped my S21 nothing has ever broke on it. Still a huge step up from the Iphone 11 I had prior to my S21.
I've had mine for a year now and it's easily the best phone I've ever had. Plan on keeping it for another 2-3 years

Great phone, it's my main phone. I had it since April 1st 2021 got the black version my self
I have the s21 base model and it's great. So good that I'm holding out another year on a new phone. S24 will be when I upgrade
Your thoughts about the battery? How much timd it give you sot?

So true about the camera…last night I went out with some friends and we were taking pictures with iPhone 14pro and Samsung s21 plus and my friend with the iPhone loved the camera on the Samsung.. I found that hilarious. I was on the fence about going back to Samsung. After seeing the pictures from the Samsung I’m going back to Samsung….
I went back to s21 from ip13
Just got mine in the mail few mins ago, can't wait to fire 🔥 it up after full charge...it's supposed to be unlocked so hopefully it works with my line!!
I have s21 and prefer it to s22. Can't understand why screen and battery smaller on s22 than s21.
Bro they downgrade evrything with more higher prices😭
@kerbal Yeah I know. It's annoying!
Bought this phone last week and I am very satisfied with it. Pink color is super cute, the screen is exquisite, performance is miles better than my 2023 midrange, cameras are nice and sharp enough and there are lots of good quality of life features, still feels superior and premium despite being close to price with midrange phones. ❤
Sorry did you buy it new or UK used??
This phone is getting Android updates till 2025 it's apart of the Samsung 4 year new policy, this phone has 3-4 more years of security updates left.
Can't believe people complain about the back or the color. Who cares? Once you put a case on it all phones look the same
Lovely phone Had it for 2 years now One issue is the battery, which drains quicker, but everything else is still amazing
Didnt the android took many of your battery and btw how much a full charge last to you?
@Stef my phone says a day and an hour, but it loses it within 6-7 hours of mild use It loses 15 percent when I go to school and it is off all day Idk how but it says there are no background apps and also when I leave my phone still it loses less than 10
@ctnzz i see the same happens to my phone but a full charge last 10 hours for me,but a tip for how to not lose battery from staying off is to put the phone on airplane mode this keeps my battery very much on my s21
@@stef7137 thanks I will do that from now on It gets annoying because it has stayed on low power mode for ages There is also a bug with the onue ui 5 lock screen The clock size changes on its own
Yh bro the android 13 fucked up my system and my battery
Wow I have the S21 for almost two years. And still great. BTW I have the Exynos version. I am no planning to go for S23. Battery capacity at 94%.
yeh I got my s21 ultra back in june 2022 and I honestly don't want the s23 even though I could easily get it. Im loving the 15hrs plus screen on time and I like the 10x zoom I am pretty sure the s23 ultra has 10x zoom also so no real reason to upgrade camera wise...the s23 takes slightly better pictures but who cares who goes out in pitch black and starts going on a picture binge
Not going to lie the s21 6.2 is a very good phone like I easily took a picture of the moon not kidding and this is not even the ultra even i wouldn't mind getting the ultra but unfortunately don't have the money to afford it 😅
No SD card? That sucks. As for the glass back, who cares. We all put protective covers on all our phones anyways. We never see the body design of the phone to begin with.
Watching from my S20 Fe which still has security updates. Waiting for the s23 Fe to go on sale.😜
Hope s23fe has good battery life not like the s21fe also I hope it goes down to 500€ or else...
When will you upgrade your sound recording
I put a case on it anyway, the backs are always covered
On a small screen 1080 sould be sufficient, anything more is overkill, just my opinion
I bought the S21+ because it was larger and had a glass back. Oh and the silver colour still looks great.
im buying one to im using iphone 8 plus its gonna be a huge upgrade
i bought s21+ also early this month, its very good
@@izzrusyaidi1654 my eyes are to greedy i want s22 ultra but i would have to wait months so ill just get s21 plus instead next week
@@rahsaanjohn-pierre6843 Hey, how's the s21+? My mind's to greedy and it wants the ultra. Is it great?
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and I am trying to find a new phone model because my lil box although it's still kicking is just too old. Genuine question to everyone out there but what samsung phone between 2021 and 2023 is better? Price included in the thought process as well since all I really do is play games and make calls but the version of android I have (8.0) is definitely being phased out for apps now and so on.
I would go with S23 (maybe in few months cus price) or S21. I'm using S21 for 14 months, bought S22 last week and was disappointed with performance and battery (exynos version). I plan to return it on monday and stick to S21 (also exynos) a little more or buy s21 ultra for better battery.
Check the oneplus 10t
i have a question is a good to buy 1 year used s21?
Good vid!!
the only S21 worth it is the Ultra!! and that phone is a beast.. highly recommend it
The S21+ is a very good phone the silver colour is amazing bigger screen battery and as a glass back
way too big
Question i have the galaxy s21 iltra 256gb i got this phone before thanksgiving it works wonderfully..question is should i have waited and hold off until they came out with the s 23..i did have the option of getting the s22 ultra 256gb but it wasn't out that long and i wanted to wait for more reviews..the reviews I've read all said to buy the s21 that its better than the 22...now I'm wondering if all the problems were fixed in s23 ..if so i was gonna give my son this phone and buy the newest 2023. Is that a good move???
The s20 was the best 1440 p display . SD card and 12 gb ram. S21 has 8 gb ram, no SD card and 1080 p display. Spec wise the s20 still holds champion
Having said that. I bought the s22. It is the same speeds and works exactly the same minus the SD card storage and it has a lower quality screen. So I gave the s22 to my wife I must have SD card storage. There is no difference in between s20 s21 s22 or the s23. They all perform the same. (Not enough to notice ) performance wise. Keep what you have till you want to upgrade but the s23 is no different. Dont waste your time yet
please buy a voice editing software can't hear what you say
Just bought my dad this phone :)
I think is still very good for 2023 capable getting SD888 and still getting android 15 OS next year in 2024 the camera is master piece the design yes flagship phone
Wait, so theres NO SD card slot or Headphone jack??? I'm getting this phone tomorrow, I didnt know that. 😢
@@Muhib_Shah I got it brand new with my insurance through At&t as an upgrade. I only paid $75 for it. I think it's valued at like $600 or $800? It came in a at&t box and everything.
Becareful of the exynos version. If you are in Europe or Uk, I will get the s23 snapdragon. Samsung finally came to there senses. It's mixed reviews, you might get lucky or you might not. Just wait a year or two, even

I have it for 2 years now and its great phone, only battery is a little weak if you use it a lot.. Next phone is gonna be S Ultra, I just don't know if I'll go with s23 ultra or wait for s24 ultra..
I just got one and the volume buttons are driving me insane, there is no tactility at all sometimes i press them and they do nothing sometimes i press them a few times and the volume goes almost all the way up or down, is it just broken i havent seen anybody else talking about it and i dont see why they would make it like this on purpose and why nobody else would be complaining about it, can somebody please let me know if thats just how it is or if mine is just broken
It's not broken period you need to clean it with a q tip and a little bit of alcohol. I had the same problem couldn't even take a screenshot until I cleaned it
But when you open the exynos version like me the battery life is really awful...
Just ordered one few mins ago...Flagship phone for $300?? No brainer!! Samsung makes the best phones, they just need to bring back the Note line...I had the note 10 few yrs ago and wow was It impressive!! Even for an outdated model! Remember if its new to you then it's a new phone! Most only buy the latest phones just to show off or wanting to be like everyone else
Plastic back is a benefit
I agree the display was a downside 1080p? 😢
This phone was plastic back which is the thing I hated the most besides removing the SD card slot
The S21+ as a glass back
@Douglas Taggart read the tittle before u comment we was talking about the s21 and ya as for the s21+ they just made it glassback for an asucse to sell it. The s21+ and s22+ are such bad phones for $999 like they are charging us flagship price and dumbing it down way too much, the s22+ should've been the s22 ultra what I mean is the true s ultra phone doesn't exist and it's basically a note so either they should lower the price to $799, sell it at $999 and make an an sultra with traditional rounded design, no spen support and tweek 1 or 2 other minor things they dumbed it down a bit too much and I just can't see $800+ being worth it for phones like s21+ or the s22+
yes. while play game call of duty it get heatin. plastic comi off
You will probably use a case anyways, so who cares about plastic back
@bibliobakker I mean, still was still a weird move considering this is an s phone and not a phone, Note 20 was the worst phone ever released because it was basically something i would call an a81 stylus. I get it these are meant to he slightly affordable but $799 $999 is still premium, once u hit $699 their is no reason to use mid range stuff. But I'm glad they brought it back to the s22 because we were hearing rumors that's only the s22 ultra will have glassback but thank god that didn't happened. It's not that it's just that well I paid flagship price and I don't want to see mid range materials even if I put a case, anything above $699 is premium period.
Bro, you camera review is the worst I've ever seen.... You just kept zooming at you table😭😭😭 I came to see the pictures
I have this exact phone and have had nothing but issues with it from day one!!!! Continuously I have constant data connection issues with mobile data and apps just seem to stop working after a few hours. Not sure if it is just an Exnyos issue or my mobile network? Really really frustrated. So glad Samsung has not put in Exynos chip sets in their latest S23. Really hope they keep Exynos out of their phones. In my opinion Exynos has been a very inferior chip set and have not performed well at all.
The SD 888 has alot of heat issues and the 8G1 was even worse for gaming I'd say the SD 865 or the plus is the king in the android market
Tsmc made chips are better than Samsung made ones
@theoriginalmilkman exactly samsung isn't a hardware copy, yet they are trying hard to be the android world on Apple they are bringing taitanium, flat display, and removing parascope zoom lens
Im getting this. Ive made my mind over how good of a deal im getting.
The plastic back is horrible! But to be honest... I am using a case 100% of the time anyway, so whats the point 😅
Same lol
When you say less than 300 dollars, you mean used?
I just bought 1 today and for the lack of sd card I'd say 128GB or 256 is quite a lot already?
If you're coming from budget phones then this is already a huge upgrade on the line. And tbh who use more than 128gb lol, I certainly don't, you'll be fine if you don't constantly filming 8k videos
Man I want to download mod apps and games that’s why I thing this phone would be best
Who cares about 1440p on that small of a screen 1080p I think is definitely sufficient, I also could care less about the plastic on the back because who does not put ther phone in a case these days? I agree the lack of the SD card is a big hit, but I also would rather have a headphone jack before I care about the plastic
So no SD card slot?
yeah it sucks. I got the 250 gb version
I got this phone for $60 basically brand new but blacklisted. And i bought a usb c controller for it. Going to be playing some retro games on this . I think this can out perform a bunch of those handhelds out of china . Especially for $100 after controller.
I own this Galaxy S21 but this phone still hasn't got the OneUI 5 update yet which is very annoying and making me a Samsung hater slowly.

I like Galaxy I love iPhone I wish they would make like where you can remove the battery and replace it with a newer battery easier for either one of them that would be great then you can have great battery life for a lifetime I’d be cool to see some newer technology like that and say people money they don’t want to be on contracts
I agree 100%, but it wouldn’t be a good business decision for them. I miss my S5, because it had the SD card slot, removable battery, and an IR blaster. Perfect phone!

Honestly in a smaller screen the removable of 1440p isn't a huge issue but it was sad removing anything is upsetting like let's say they remove something like reverse wireless charging may not seem like something most will care about but if today removes something small than who knows what tommorow will remove

It was a note 20 rip off with a slightly cheaper price the no spen but it was 120hz thank God the note 20 was $999 with plastic back, 1080p and 60hz with no sd card slot this was basically a slightly improved version of a note 20 without spen for a cheaper device, comparing to the s20 it's dumbed down but compared to note 20 this phone was a pleasant surprise.
