  • I'm surprised that for king crabs that their traps are so small (the round blue ones). I would think if they were twice the size then all those big beauties wouldn't be all trying to squeeze in to get at the bait.

    • considering you have a boat to maintain, an employees to pay, gas for the boat, permits, equipments and it is seasonal, its not all-year-round. you have to consider also the indirect costs and labor to bring it to your plate and let's see if you will still question the price of it
