The fact that the Exynos 2100 can not run PUBG MOBILE at HDR + Extreme even in 2022 is sus. Snapdragons have been able to do that since 2019

@TOM Yes but not being able to play PUBGM at HDR + Extreme is just an indication of the GPU's power, it's still weaker than the Snapdragons from 2019
@TOM For a $1200 phone that's unacceptable, even the Poco F3- a $350 phone can run HDR + Extreme without even a single frame drop and GFX tool doesn't last that long the phone goes back to its default framerate (40fps) on HDR after 5-10 mintues of using GFX Tool and not to mention that it is a chore to use GFX Tool everytime I want to play PUBG.

Please, compare Exynos 2100 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at CPU Throttling Test program (30 min and 100 threads) and 3D Mark GPU stress test. I think Exynos 2100 is more stable than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Main problem with exynos is thermal dissipation ,,in country like India where temp could reach 47 during peak summer...my samsung exynos used to switch off due to excessive heat after opening camera app

I knew the exynos 2100 in the s21 ultra was decent. After owning the exynos version for 1 now I've noticed the performance from all the upgrades this device was getting better and better. Everyone jumped the gun and slated the exynos version. And just wait for the exynos amd version that will be a beast.

both chipset are quite similar because both are manufactured by Samsung 5nm fabrication. The chipset we should all be excited for is the mediatek 9000 that is manufactured by TSMC. Some reports say that a portion of SD 8 gen 1 will be manufactured by TSMC, and i think this batches of SD will be the real winners. Excited!!

Adreno GPU will always be more powerful than Mali GPU.

@@TechPill_ QSD 855, 865 and their overclocked variants were manufactured on TSMC. When Qualcomm switched from TSMC N7P in 865/865+/870 to Samsung 5LPE in 888, we got +10-30% performance and +100-130% power consumption. That says a lot about Samsung's process. They just stuck for now with 4LPE not giving serious improvements. We can only expect improvements in the next year with new GAAFET transistors, it should shorten the gap between TSMC N3 and 3LPE as TSMC N3 will still use FinFET

Probably because of some optimixation! Snapxragoms are better optimized ad they are common where as exynos sufferd from worse optimixarion cux only samsung uses them thatd why they suffer! I have exynos 990 powered s20fe and in 3dmark wildlife it just destroys 865 or 870!
Simply because Exynos processors are powerful but not well supported by game and software developers

You should do antutu benchmark at least 3 times without cooling. And for gaming pubg bootcamp with gyro on and hard lobby
Is Antutu the ultimate test , what about the 20 mins Wild life stress test result? Developer support also matters way more. Regardless the performance, for gaming get a phone with proper cooling which is not present in any Samsung phone.

As an Exynos 2100 user, the thing I'm disappointed with this chipset is the modem. Not much improvement in term of signal strength compared to S8. It loves to switch between 4G and 5G which will disconnect the internet everytime it happens. And now I can't receive phone call. I don't blame my operator because other people who use S21 series in my country also have the same problems with me. And people who are using Snapdragon chipsets (Z-Flip/Z-Fold/S21 imported from HK) don't have any of these problems at all.
Same my one disconnects from the internet every 5 minutes
So that explains why the wifi is weak on my s21 ultra while my OnePlus 7 Pro has a better wifi signal and speed.
But this problem can be solved with a update
I noticed only poor call quality and weak signal in places where my wifes iphone 13 has great signal. WiFi and 4g are fine.

That's not Samsung's fault because TSMC is well occupied by Mediatek and Apple so Qualcomm has no choice rather then using Samsung’s foundry
My gripe on the exynos version is the camera heat up and cannot operate after doing 1 or 2 slomo or some 4k, really dumb exynos. Thank god we now get 8gen1 and not exsh1tnos anymore
I saw someone who has the Poco f3 and he overclocked the GPU to 900hz I hope you search for that to tell us is that possible and what performance we could get from that overclock

Please run these tests with all Samsung game related apps disabled . My S21 ultra (Sd 888) couldn't run Genshin Impact at 60 fps even at medium settings . After I disabled all Samsung game related features using alliance shield x my phone can now run Genshin Impact on 60 fps on the highest settings . Samsung game related software is there to just throttle game performance .

I just sold mine due to short batt life, SoC heats up quickly and throttle, mediocre camera. So, good luck to u. One more thing, i am not sure why, but the brightness is low, even in full brightness (manual and auto), i cant see the screen bcos its too dim. Other phones no such issue

@@Makonator007 yep, i sold s21 and change to x70 pro. X70 pro not without issues tho, there are bugs that need to be addressed. That said, i still prefer it over s21, battery life is way better, camera is way better, stability is good, launch app and camera faster, brighter display compared to s21. No heating up, no throttling

@@malathomas6141 if it really did those achievements Samsung would mention it in the release presentation, bit they didn't. They only showed all the various specs of the chip and highlighted NPU improvements. Also they didn't show frequencies.

Is this right? That Snapdragon uptime was showing two weeks without a restart and the Exynos had been restarted 6 hours before that. It should make Snapdragon performance much worse, maybe that's why it didn't kill tha Exynos so much this time
Doesn't matter you can see same results on every other channel. exynos 2100 is on par with snapdragon 888.
@@ThomasSchlicksbier I would maybe try another SD888 phone as Samsung has power throttled the S21U (SD version) and may even have downclocked it from what it can do. They probably did that for PR reasons as they got a lot of flack for the S21 differences. That is nothing to be happy about even if you are a hardcore Samsung superfan, that is the SD being similar because Samsung has downgraded it to be as slow as the Exynos!!!
@@andyH_England Dude look other videos with benchmarks included, they have same results only with marginal differences. And this differences being that other manufacturers make some things better then samsung. If you would know what you write then you would also know that exynos 2100 was behind in benchmarks at launch. But after updates they are neck and neck since surely about 6 to 7 months. Just accept it, Exynos has sometimes better battery life and is exact the same in terms of heating also (only on camera it gets hotter). And yep what you say is just bs, if this would be true they would have done that every generation also before.. they would just ruin themself with something like that.

Flagships will have a vapour chamber cooling system. They don't just advertise it, its not a MSP for flagship phones.

If u repeated the test multiple times without cooling the gap between these two chips grow substantially. I'm well aware of the global chip shortage for the snapdragon, but I don't think it's fair to sell the inferior exynos for a price similar (or even higher in some European countries) to the snapdragon chip
That's why he did the stress test. It simulates say like 5 antutu tests all at once without any break in which the case Exynos still managed to outperform the snapdragon.
