I kinda called it tbh. They did the exact same on the cs Major in Rio last year. They don't like valorant. They like Brazil. They don't have any respect, instead they're hostile towards any opposing teams and their respective fans. They literally spat on s1mple back then, so I'm honestly surprised booing is all they did today.. It really sucks for Loud, such a great team with such a bad crowd representing and rooting for them.

There was no "reverse sweep" There was a tie, of 2 - 2 in maps, and then a comeback on the fifth
Much deserved L for the crowd. I hope riot never announces any other tournament in this region. They left before the trophy ceremony and Boaster had to lift the trophy in an empty arena. Anything but Brazil will be good.
agreed, the crowd was super disrespectful for any other team outside of the brazilian teams. i understand rooting for your hometown favorites, but they should have been more respectful towards the teams that beat them

As a Japanese I'looking forward to the Masters in Japan! Japanese fans are one of the most polite countries in the world, and there are many Japanese fans of overseas players. Even if the Japanese team (ZETA.DFM) doesn't make it to the Masters, the seats will fill up every game, and we'll show great cheers and respect. *If it's a wish, I hope ZETA will reach Masters Tokyo!!

I watched this live when it was 10-3 with loud in the lead, literally everyone thought Loud had won but fnatic somehow turned it around. It was nice seeing the butthurt Brazil fans in the crowd
Down 3-11 from a momentous reverse-series-sweep by Loud and with a crowd of 7k Brazillians rooting and cheering against you.. And yet Boaster still managed to lead his team into overtime, promptly winning afterwards without breaking a sweat. What a legend.

Best final in VCT history. All 5 maps in a bo5, incredible comeback and ot in last map. Fnatic finally winning a lan event,... it was just perfect
Greatest final ever! I'm happy I got to see Argentina vs France and Fnatic vs Loud over the last 4 months, both had the exact same story, one team with a second attempt at the final while the other team are the defending champions, the team that could never win the final dominated and had all the momentum, then proceeds to fuck up after a huge advantage and choke hard to the defending champions, but the will to win for the first time and mentality doesn't break and bounces back! They managed to comeback after going down 3-11 after already loosing 2 maps, with the entire crowd just cheering at every whiff they made for TWO HOURS STRAIGHT and yet they still managed to comeback even after they almost crumbled under all that pressure! I am not even a fan of Fnatic but I wanted to see Boaster crying happily unlike 2 years ago when I saw the guy who made that VCT amazing with his smile cry for the first time in the finals even if I was rooting for Sentinels at the time.
LOUD reminds me of 2021 Gambit, win a title and then (ALMOST) close it out at the next LAN event, but just getting second place.

I remember watching the stream yesterday, I watched all the way until Loud was winning 11 to 3. I was like “damn, Fnatic is done for, their mental is gone and there is no way they’re gonna win. Gg Loud”. So I left the stream for a while. When I came back, I saw Fnatic holding the trophy and I was so confused. I thought I was watching the wrong stream or something. But damn, this is the most beautiful and absolutely unexpected comeback I’ve ever seen.

Fnatic really well deserved to win after they lost finals to Sentinels at Masters Reykjavik 2021. Man, Valorant Grand Finals always hyped out all the plays and etc. Finally Boaster and Derke get their first trophy alongside with Leo and Alfajer. I've been a fan for fnatic for 2 whole years (Valorant) this what i have been waiting for for they to win this Im going to stick to this team in vct
Bro this was literally the best match I've seen so far technical-wise and story-wise. Loud previously only a noted team for being rivals with Optic nobody noted anything else, only getting respect after a hard-fought champions run finally beating their demons, now they're here to prove that they could go even farther despite losing two core members, with the crowd on their backs. Fnatic, always in the conversation but never cuts it past average or just above average placings in the last year. One side thinks that they'll choke again despite the added firepower, one side hopes that they will dominate once more. Neither happened. This was the most exciting, even, nail biting and highest skill-level pro match I've seen. The satisfaction from silencing a biased home crowd is something else, I'm proud for Fnatic that they finally won against their demons and silenced the doubters, excited to see more from them at Tokyo.

This finale was just insanity. At the beginning a dominant looking FNC, then LOUD stepping up for the reverse sweep making it all the way to Map 5 and led 3:11 and in the end FNC making that comeback and winning in overtime. That was intense and great to watch. The only sad thing was, that it felt like an online tournament due to the crowd. Please no more brazil ty.
