Wife got her first deer on opening day. When we least expected it a solid 8 stepped out in bow range and she laid the smack down on him with her 6.5 creedmoor! She’s hooked now! I haven’t been that excited for a deer since i got my first one as a kid! Great great feeling!!!

I too was a diehard waterfowler...my cousin got a cabin in the Catskills NY and then my friend ,s father got permission on farmland abutting the Delaware water gap forest in NJ..and so the new addictions began. Great memories at the cabin and opening days on the farm.

John I also live in Fargo. I hunted pheasant last weekend and did see many deer hunters out in North Dakota. I am headed to SD the week of Thanksgiving to hunt pheasant. I also love waterfowl hunting but I have noticed in the past few years it seems the flyaway is changing . Not the numbers of birds coming down thru this area like there was in the early 2000 . Like your content we should get together and plan a hunt. I've been hunting 50 of my 60 years on this earth and would be more than happy to share and duck blind or field walk with you. We could also do a coyote hunt after the first of the year.
