    • iirc when you throw your pokemon out in the "lets go mode" aka the auto battle mode they WILL NOT attack pokemon that are shiny, sooooo assuming your mon is strong enough you can just wipe everything while searching for even more rolls.

  • Great to see someone look into this! I've found that location makes it a bit more likely to get certain pokemon, but I wonder if there is something unique to your character that causes certain outbreaks to be more common to you than other players. (I get *a lot* of Froslass and Dreepy/Drakolak spawns no matter where I am on the map, like practically every day one of those three will spawn.) I've done a few months of resets looking for specifics and struggled to get certain pokemon to pop (finally got Fidough outbreak ♡ ) so hopefully being specific with location will help. :)

It does make me wonder what happens if you’re actually IN Area Zero, with that having a fair few exclusives and no mass outbreaks in the crater itself. • I noticed this pattern a few days ago (was wondering if any youtubers would also notice it), was trying to hunt for shiny Axew or Fraxure and did over 200 resets while standing in/near Alfornada and Mezagoza. Never really saw any Pokémon I cared about going for and decided to start moving around the map when resetting. Ended up getting different Pokémon to start spawning once I started going to random places, then finally decided to stand in the specific habitat/encounter area with the Pokémon I wanted. Had a Fraxure outbreak spawn within 20-30 resets. I believe there are a few things that can be determined for certain just off of my subjective analysis: - Outbreaks per day are between 4 and 8 Pokémon. - Position on the map (possibly the Biomes in surrounding tiles like mentioned in this video) play a role in determining SOME of the Pokémon that will spawn with each reset. (I believe there maybe a specific # selected for Pokémon of the biomes and possibly some set as "random"). - Some Pokémon are significantly more likely to spawn as outbreaks, especially the pre-evolutions. (Flittle, Rufflet, Psyduck, Slowpoke, and many others). Best thing to do if you are hunting a specific Pokémon for an outbreak is go to an area on the map that Pokémon normally spawns in (habitat) and reset until you see the outbreak.

  • Something I hope to see in a DLC which we'll inevitably get is that there's gonna be a literal Mass Outbreak of Paradox Pokemon in the normal world. I mean, with the Zero Gate open in Postgame, they could climb up and leave "easily". Would be funny. In general I hope to see a lot of Area Zero related extra stuff. Rebattling/re-encountering the professor(s), deeper access to Area Zero for the eventual Dogs/Justice paradox, and perhaps even access to the time machine in the way Ultra Wormholes worked (so like, being able to go back.)

    @ValunarTonix@ValunarTonix Жыл бұрын
    • I don't think that we will see one day the Paradox Mass Outbreak soon. The time machine shouldn't work anymore since both the knowledge (AI Turo) and the material (Violet/Scarlet book) to make it work are no longer present in this time, and most unlikely to come back. And by the Zero Gate being open, do you mean the gate at the bottom of the Area Zero where the professor was ? If so, since the time machine doesn't work anymore, so they're won't be any Paradox pokemon leaving and making mass Outbreak. But if the scenario was a little bit different then that would be awesome I agree

    • Same! Fellow colorblind person here. I am absolutely fucked when it comes to some of these. Like the ones that are yellow and their shiny is just a light green for example. I can't see it. Thankfully I can tell Rookidee apart because of the drastic difference in color, Shinx too, but Magikarp was strangely difficult because of how metallic it is. • I thought I was forever condemned to suffer countless Luvdisc and Magikarp outbreaks 😭😂. I thought wrong. Incredible work, keep it coming!

  • Austin John is a great advertiser, I was not planning to get this game but after seeing a plethora of these videos, I just had to buy one and see what's up, 60+ hours in and it has been going great!

  • One important thing I don't think you picked up on is the spawns that happen within your tile that are rarer than the common ones all over the map will ONLY spawn next to you. So the tandemaus for instance would have only spawned next to you and not far away from you. The other outbreaks all over the map spawn regardless of where you are. With this information, you save time by just looking at the spawns around and you and not panning all over the map

  • I got a Sylveon outbreak to happen today because I was standing in Alfornada and got the shiny too. It took some date skipping but it worked.

  • As someone who is severely colorblind, I'm super stoked about the color vid coming. Shiny hunting has been really rough.

  • Hey Austin! Loving the content, I saw someone in the comments of a different video about this subject mention that encounter power sandwiches also affect what outbreaks you can get via map timeskipping. I tried it myself and it certainly FEELS that way, but I'm neither analytical nor attentive enough to go as in depth with it as you do. Would love to see/hear your thoughts on it!

  • I cant confirm this because I haven’t tested to the levels you have, but I believe also eating a sandwich with encounter power influences the outbreaks that spawn. I have had really great success targeting specific mons with both the zone and encounter sandwich boosts

  • simplified: if a pokemon can be in a mass outbreak (which you can check with serebii), go to a tile on the map where it spawns. then from there, timeskip 1 day forward and see if they spawn anywhere on the map
