Penn & Teller performed a trick on stage just prior to this guy's performance. As part of Penn & Teller's trick, they gave Howie the bottle of sanitizer. You can search it on KZhead.

Lol.. its a school kid magic, only if you know it. The secret lies in that book. Initially franco shown the book and turned the pages by fingers pressed on a side of eage set of pages ( horizontally turning pages) , Later when he said the judges to pick a page, he doesnt fully reveals the image (just only flips the page from its end carefully by not showing the picture from its middle (note that the pages turned vertically now) That means whichever page the judges are gonna pick, that preplanned 3 sets of pages are obtained (actually every pages are repetation of those pictures). Now its all easy. He just bought that snowman precasted. Isnt it funny to realise that this schoolboy magic is presented here and no one realizes it because of the reputation Franco has built .. haha

half of the of the papers wear cut in half so if you show them one way you only see half but if you hold it the other way you get all the same. clever but easy to figure out.

This is one of the easiest trick I have ever seen done by a magician. I know exactly how he did it. The edges of the book is cut in 2 shapes and everytime he flips a page, he actually flips 2 pages. Yet he pulled it off very well. However he could have created more suspicion in revealing the final snowman. The reaction could have been more effective!

I believe they call it a "force" . He basically had them pick the parts he wanted them to. Not very good compared to his other stuff

half of the of the papers wear cut in half so if you show them one way you only see half but if you hold it the other way you get all the same. clever but easy to figure out.

This is one of the easiest trick I have ever seen done by a magician. I know exactly how he did it. The edges of the book is cut in 2 shapes and everytime he flips a page, he actually flips 2 pages. Yet he pulled it off very well. However he could have created more suspicion in revealing the final snowman. The reaction could have been more effective!
