Just be inspired bro. Try not to be negative. People like Chris and Nyjah have been skating since before they could walk pretty much (not sure about Chris but I assume that's the case). I'm 32 and am just getting back into skating and I just want to enjoy it. Just enjoy any progress you make.
Don’t sweat it, he started skating when he was like 4 I believe, grew up 2 blocks away from him, he was really good at a very young age
How is anything this guy does possible? Like, honestly. This dude is revolutionary. Rasing the bar.
2:57 Shecks there to support his homie.
Amazing, Joslin you're one of my favorite skaters and a inspiration/role model
I’ve always loved joslin. I’m so proud of him for accomplishing this? Two 9’s in a row! Keep it up Chris!! 🔥🔥🔥
I remember being there and how insane it was! I was jumping out of my seat screaming my head off cause i was so hyped!
Joslin is a BEAST!
my favorite skater, hands down. So young, so much potential
The man!!! One of my favorite street skaters
JOSLIN ALWAYS LEAVES ME SPEECHLESS...
Oh, I didn't even realize how good Chris is until i saw this. Sick runs and really good street layout.
Just noticed the "monster making the cut" and at the end he was drinking a rockstar.
came here looking for this comment, thanks :D
Alex Wolfenstein Wolstencroft hes not drinking a rockstar hahahah it’s a water bottle with a rockstar sticker on it. Only a deranged crackhead would start chugging an energy drink after exerting themself like that
That gap 😲 Love everything about this!!
love the energy man
not much you can say against this guy he is such a GREAT role model + skateboarder
The tenacity, his performance here almost brought me to tears no lie
Everyiime I come back to this video it blows my mind as if it was my first time seeing it
Happy to see a new kid who can give Nyjah a run for his money.
JOSLIN BRINGING THE HEAT🔥🔥🔥
My fav sls runs of all time
Went to middle school with this guy. Never would of thought he would get this big. Props to him man
Chris Joslin will be one of the best for sure. No one shreds like him. He is his own skater build 🔥
🔥 great job 🔥
i come back to this video every month out so for therapy, shout out chris joslin
Hands down my favorite skater keep it real chris joslin 🤘
This dude books he goes so fast on his board. I don't even think I can keep balance going at the speed he does
The gap ollie to fakie was awesome too
Was fakie
it is called AlleyHoop
historic
It is called "blindside"...alleyhoop(bs/fs) is a little bit more than 180° in both directions :D
Bruh this was done crazy. Props, man.
I remember seeing this and starting back skating just because of that massive transfer from quarter pipe to quarter pipe! I realised that day I wanted to feel a Air at least once in my life. Couldn’t 50/50 or even rock to fakie. Now 4 years later, I Blunt half-cab out and can nearly go over the pipe when I frontside Air, but damn, it feels good and it all started when I seen this! Hahahaha thanks Joslin and Thanks SLS for providing us with such good content all the time! 👌💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn I had no idea the dude was only 19. He seems like he's a lot older. Killin it!
damn flip fs crook middle of the run
When you're Chris Joslin you can definitely afford those tricks haha, dude is a machine.
Steezy af too. Bolts.
Joslin puts in the work! Glad he's from my hometown
Crazy that Chris Cole is commentating. He is an absolute BEAST of a skater. I met him at my local skatepark 17 years ago (as a preteen) and he was so good I just couldn't believe it. The power in his tricks and how effortlessly he got 3x as much air as any other pro on the Zero team was unreal. Great guy too. Still have the shirt he autographed. 🤘
Was one of the narrators Chris Cole?
yes
Yezzir.
clearly not a skater hahah
uhmGonzo you must be bc you know his voice and have a pot leaf as your picture... So skater bro!!
saucymace25 Nah Ontatio, Cole is a legend if your over 18 and into skating you probably know what he looks and sounds like.
Who else thought he looked like the older brother in stranger things
Thaaats who he looks like lol. I was like where have I seen him before
YES! I've been trying to place his face for aaaaages. Nice one.
HOLY SHIT! You're right
Which older brother?
@@junkrod1902 the older brother of will
love this guys style, def chompin' away
Jolson is one of the most humble & genuine men of our times. Raised by his grandmother & now a father of a beautiful little girl, he’s one heck of a role model.
guy would have already won 2 SLS events if he was sponsored by nike sb or monster :D
like for chris cole, the best skater in the world,i recognize the voice
Definitely one of my faves at the moment
In the 90's this would've been the most amazing line in a skate video.
Chris Joslin he's a beast
you said it
+Duncan Hutcheson the kickflip frontside crock and the huge backlip insane
He's 19? Just knew that. Thought older
This dude is literally the future of skating. He is crazy good at every type of skating and he just randomly throws tricks with ease. Looks the best in my opinion
I will never get tired of watching this
He should have won
he just needed that fs flip and he wouldve won
Jabrou14 true
Nah breh Shane has been killing it, Luan and Nyjah are unreal in general glad Shane won.
He could've but he gave away around 3 runs trying an Ollie gap to fakie. If i was him i would of done it as my last best trick section, so that i can have a comfortable lead and just fuck around.
Nyjah just the goat ... nyjah always got sunun in the bag he just didnt need to use it
I missed the stream as i live in the UK, i want to watch the whole thing, will they upload it ?
go to the channel Sk8 Videos and they have the whole event uploaded
Solomon Bacon Sweet! Cheers!
By far my favorite skater , I wish I could meet Chris
that frontside gap reply was sick!
Anyone see the level of skate in his hand while trying to put the cap back on his bottle? Amped af!
I wanted to cry when he lost
Joslin is unbelievable. Definitely my favorite skater at the moment. It's hard to argue he's not #1 right now. Mad props to him
2:58 jealousy and fire in sheckler's eyes...
That's speed though muafucka rippin it.
Facts!
The emotion and aggressive impacts of the second run
He killed it on the best trick section as well!
hungry hungry joslin
hes 20 yoo i thought he was 25 or so looks older, i know hes been good that 3 flip on davis is fucking gnarly af
Lee Andre
I thought I was watching someone play skate. 3!!!
I stood up out of my chair after that backside flip sheesh Chris 🔥🔥
So rad and a nice guy aswell my favourite skater
I cringe every time I hear the term 9 club
I cringe whenever I decide to give it a chance and click on some of this Park League bullshit.
can't deny that gnarly gap tho
Yet here you all are...in the comment section..of a Street League video.
Sam Clark doesn't seem to make much sense to leave a comment about Street League anywhere else but the comment section of one of their vids. Isn't that the point of comment sections?
Doesn't seem to make much sense considering two of the comments blatantly hate street league. Isn't the point to avoid something you hate?
all that weed he smokes makes him just naturally pump out creativity. he does the craziest shit and he's got insane board control
fuck that comment made me lol
INPUT = weed OUTPUT = Nollie 360 flip to Christ Air...over volcano caldera gap
That look of determination though. Killer.
Such a dope ass skater and his style is impeccable. He has a similar style of P Rod both so clean and technical \..../\m/
Chris Cole was commentating
I'm so happy I have his name as my gamertag on Xbox. He's such a beast and only at 19 years old... He's only gonna get better which is pretty scary stuff. You can see just how much he loves skateboarding. I love it.
Your gamer tag though?
***** Someone's jealous. ***** Yes my gamertag. My favourite skateboarder, well one of them. That'd be like having the gamertag of your celebrity crush (not that I have a crush on Chris, but you know what I mean). It's awesome. I get people who tell me in game chat that they like my gamertag or know who it is lol. Pretty cool. Plus, it's better than having x's in my gamertag, or people that use numbers, or shit like "Lol you mad" and whatnot.
Jesse you're a fruit
***** You're a tool.
Jesse that's tight haha.
damn.. tpuds sure know how to take care junior associates.. chris joslin for life bro !!
That gap.. so great.
Crazy but here in 2019 only sponsors for SLS are tech deck and true skate😂
Monster also a little bit, but for sure they lack on sponsors
No complys were the best parts. #oldguy
This was around the same time he had his first child If I'm not mistaken. Can't stop the hunger of a man with a new born cub !!! I've seen it in athletes throughout different individual sports (Boxing, Swimming, MMA). This video gives me chills cause it set the precedent for the rest of his career in SLS: Go hard or go home!!!!!
When Jolson came out. He was a beast and still is 2020 👌
He could have won damnit so bummed out
how did he not win
you must have not seen the whole competition
missed several tricks during best trick :/
Wouldnt say awful.. He just swung for the fence on every attempt. If he landed that last trick he takes the competition. Fact.
In last attemp if he landed 8.8 Score he will win but he bail :(
His runs were on point but when he got to the best trick part of the competition he wasted too many attempts trying to backside ollie to fakey the channel gap. If he wouldn't have got so hung up on landing that trick he could've pulled some other shit (like a bigger flip or hardflip-late back 180 over the gap to flat) and won the contest.
he was in the zone 🔥🔥🔥
INSPIRATIONAL. AMAZING.
0:36 Holy smhokes
sad that he did not win
He did...
i wood win
precision skateboarding.. wow phenomenal man
I swear I get recommended this video every 3 months. I don't even care yo I watch it every time 👌
there's only one 9 club and it ain't in street league!
explain to an outsider what you mean.
@@APAL880 The Nine Club is a podcast on KZhead run by skaters
@@the6ig6adwolf oh of course. i've watched a few of those. i didn't realize that's what you meant, thanks.
Any one catch the mall grab he did his first run? Lol
Yeah 0:20
Does it really matter tho
I knew he's gonna be great the first time I saw him. I just knew.
i wish i could skate flawlessly like that, imagine how much fun it would be to be able to tear up any park or street spot you come across.
im in love with the girl making love to her food at 1:00 on the bottom left corner of the screen
@@johnolson1279 lol
Forreals though. How the fuck did you notice that?
she's eating like a normal person why does this comment have so many likes
she kinda ugly
