Like I usually have to really practice for a while to get the highest notes in a Marianas Trench song but this song has notes that are too high for me AND notes that are too low for me! I'm UGLY crying on my bathroom floor rn. this music video and the lyrics are all so well done and I think we all can relate to wanting to just break out of our "normal lives". and stop listening to what other people say "normal" is. this song has a little bit of everything from fix me to phantoms. It's the classic MT we all love (synths, orchestra, screaming, harmonies, repeating chord progressions) but there's also something ELSE. Something NEW. and I'm crying bc I remember the first time I heard this band in middle school I KNEW there was something great about them.
