I bet there is a good chance she's heard Dynamite or Butter but didn't realize it was BTS (that happens with a lot of people). I wish more people were open minded about listening to music in other languages. I could understand the hesitancy if we didn't have numerous resources to understand what they are saying but luckily we do. And if you think their acting is good in this oh boy she hasn't seen them really act. They have an entire fictional storyline that runs through some of their music videos called the Bangtan Universe or the BU for short. I Need U is especially devastating to watch, but their acting in it is so good. Thanks for reacting.
Just some clarification for you. This song is actually Cold Play's song with BTS collaborating. The making of this song video is awesome. The 3rd band in the video is a part of Coldplay's long running fictional story line about silencers chasing them and trying to end all music in the universe. Theat band is called Supernova and is just an alien band they made up. The characters were not taken from any movies. Also, I bet if you showed your friend the Butter video she has heard that song. There are millions that have heard that and Dynamite but they don't know it is BTS, lol. Thank you for the reaction and for spreading the word about BTS. I hope you do more reactions 💜💜💜

Coldplay is the one who brought bts over the feature with them. They met all in Korea to talk about them all collaborating and they even performed this song at the AMAs and at there LA concert

This song is amazing and the lyrics are just so beautiful as they make me both smule and cry at the same time. Also this is a dream collab for me as I'm a massive Coldplay fan as well as an Army since 2014. Both these groups mean so much to me as they both have helped me thru dark, difficult and tough times I'm my life and I'm just glad I have them both I my life as they make my life complete and happy and without them I wouldn't be here today. Also eventho Jimin and Jin don't have many lines you can clearly hear them in the background vocals and tbh their lines are my fav from the song.
Not to hate but.. I feel her sayin she never got into them because of the language barrier is stupid… like you don’t need language to know good music.. if she wanted to know what they were about she can research.. but you know better late than never 🤷🏻♂️
Let her react to butter, permission to dance and dynamite from BTS I guarantee you she will change her mind about these guys no doubt.

The My Universe Video reminds me of Guardians of the Galaxy. I like the whole idea of the video. There are people in the universe telling us what to like, who to love. That you can't listen to that music. Thanks for the reaction.

The ending fell flat for me but other than that 'Ready Player One' was a really good movie that you can watch multiple times.

Puzzled why you haven't activated captions to translate the beautiful Korean parts of BTS in this and their other amazing songs. BTS is incredibly talented and sing about real issues, philosophies and experiences; their songs and MVs have English captions.

Most Westerners would sing, dance and vibe to a song like Despacito or Mi Gente but when it comes to music with Asian language lyrics they'd make an exception! I honestly don't get that kind of mindset and it's sad. This is why there is always a language barrier and bias against Asian music because they never got to step into Westerners validation.
