I saw Al Fabet at the general store in Core City yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen animal hearts in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the organs and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Nice, that’s literally what happened to me, I wasn’t joking when I said I had 80 hours in before I got a character together
I did a stealth Dex build with an emphasis on bleeding feats. You wouldn't think knives are that dangerous until you stack five bleeds and eviscerate someone for insane amounts of damage. I was cutting down tchortlings in a single turn at the end of the game. Not to mention how OP the cut throat feat is when you can stun someone for three turns and cause absurd bleed damage that pretty much takes them out of the fight at the start. Melee is great.

Great video, I've had underrail for years now but was overwhelmed with all of the pressure on "optimizing" a build because I've never been very good at min/maxing. For all the DOM heads, yes I know versatility is a new player trap, that's why I'm trying to tell y'all to modify the build however you like. I think versatility showcases how open ended, free, and experimental a build can be. I AM LITERALLY JUST A GUY, IF YOU WANT A BASED BUILD THAN GO CHECK OUT EIDEN, MAKFAR, OR HARPERFAN7.
I'm playing a dom versatility build right now. 7 ap stunner shots are a hell of a drug.
I'd say for a newbie being able to use guns and grenade launchers even if you don't main them is a huge bonus
Was going to say I disagree but I checked for my [DOMINATING viable] 10 str, 8 dex, 18 int (3 for the rest) laser gun build and the effective gun skill was only a 2 point difference. I guess it's only good if you want to use multiple weapons or wear the commando belt
@@_jus_alexander_ yeah, my whole point of using it for new players is so that they can use both guns and melee so they experiment with the different guns for later play throughs. My ass got floored the day I realized you could burst fire with the rancor.

i've never made any great ones, but i've played a lot of crazy fun builds that i can describe the process of
Literally comprehensive and probably encompasses every relevant POI in the Underrail community
I sought the approval of the occulites and I earned it
One important thing worth adding that I only just figured out, the damage you take from neural overload scales with your int. To be clear, that means the higher your int score (once it's over 5), the higher the damage you take is, by a factor of 10% per point. I only found this out after reaching the last segment of the game with 3 will and 9 int. Still finished it, but my god, if you don't get psi enemies on the first turn and they manage to hit you with mental breakdown, you may as well just reload.
Favorite build has to be the MG/Shotgun tank, even more so when you find the MG42. Anything bunched up around mid range gets the BVVVT, anything too close gets the boomstick, anything else gets grenades.
when HD dropped, i did a dodge/evasion build using lmgs and grenade launchers, and boy did it test me
@@ZyphateLeKabaajYeah it's a bit of a nightmare to pull off with a non-con build, slapping on t-steel armor and having a nice health buffer makes it way easier since you can let the enemy get in range before opening up and suppressing most of them. Refurbing the MG3-42 is also basically required, since it lets you get off 2 bursts per turn while still putting out a horrifying amount of lead. Only catch is there's literally not enough 7.62 in the game to run it at 100% for more than a dozen fights after you refurb it, so you definitely need a good shotgun/rifle to go with it.

Streaming through yt app on smart tv (samsung) and then moved to another room on my pc and using built in speakers on the display. I didn't try headphones (have to keep ears free for work) and it's probably easier to hear you on them.

you can use any gear you do not meet the strength or skill requirements for but you will receive an accuracy penalty for weapons or an AP reduction for armor
And you won’t gain any of the bonus’ from them either

Thanks, and psychokinesis is pretty good, though I don’t know it as thoroughly as I really should, but it’s still pretty nutz with 2 different instant stuns and free electricity against bots. Thought control isn’t bad either, but it’s less effective when you’re not focusing your whole build around it, but enrage and fear can be extremely helpful for dealing with crowds. It all depends on how you play, I’d say go with PK since you can get some better utility with it.

Hey, brand new to the game so I know exactly nothing. Several questions, 1 is this build already outdated cause of the dlc? 2. do I take the pill for psychic power for your build ? 3. Is there some legendary spear I should be on the lookout for ? 4. Any important quest info that could screw me over if I don’t know it? Other then that videos great and will try the build.
1. No, HD added heavy guns like lmgs and grenade launchers, so it might be better now 2. Yes, take the pill from Pasquale 3. There are a few, but crafting your own is better in the long run 4. There’s only one, the guy Abram in Junkyard, do his ish and don’t mess it up

Any tips for a sneaky crossbow build? Or an ultimate crafting build?
Ngl, I don’t know shit about crossbows, but they are silent so they’re good for stealth, you’ll probably benefit from blind siding and opportunist, and since it’s single shot, you’ll probably get some use out of crit power and cheap shots
For crafting, just keep in mind that biology and chemistry have soft caps dictated by the materials they use (I.e. adrenal glands and hexogen reqs will always stay the same), but the other crafting skills go higher in quality up to needing like 140 for top level gear. But now is the best time to be crafting since heavy duty added super modular weapons, and it may or may not be an incredible idea to take disassemble, power management, and practical physicist for the new unique weapon, just sayin
@@ZyphateLeKabaaj One more thing - what's your opinion on Balors hammer? Should I keep it in late game as a spare weapon since I'll be getting close to 20 Str anyway?
@@Lucian028 Balor’s hammer is pretty good, especially now if you have HD, you can get heavy metal and just boost all your damage if you’re carrying 2 hammers. I’d say it’s less of a backup weapon and more of a main weapon, since it deals just mech damage at the same speed as a spear. Also, if you wanna increase your chances to hit with it, you can use Rathound Regalia, bbq (or any other food like All-In), and an adrenaline shot for a +4 to strength, a +6 if you have vitality powder. All in all, it’s pretty good, hammers are just pure melee damage, I like spears more since you can just literally do more with them, like spear throw, sweep attacks, and spear guard, but if you can deal a fuck load of damage, you literally won’t need to do anything other than bonk.

@@ZyphateLeKabaaj Watched it on a tv with an external sound setup. Sound bar and bass box only. People on phones on YT streams will hear things loud that I barely hear so I just assume the mixing is geared to different formats.

Should've covered the most game changing feats (full auto, grenadier, sprint, last stand, aimed shot, locus of control, premeditation, etc.) and their ability requirements instead of showcasing builds.
I get what you mean, I think that would be a little too disconnected tho. I think it’s better to show application of a build than to just list off a bunch of good feats with no explanation to when or why you should use them. But I am thinking bout doin a thing for psi, so look out for that ig
Also I did talk about sprint, premeditation, and grenadier so…
I'd say that high dex submachine/grenadier daka build is easiest for beginners. Even on dominating it makes game so easy that it becomes boring(for experienced players, that is)
Probably, I remember first starting out and not having the wherewithal to maintain a guns build. The one I showcased was my first build I beat the game with and one I gave to my friend, we both really like it.
