L'Manberg The Musical - Act 1 Chapter 2: A People's Nation [DREAMSMP]

The seed of revolution is sprouting, as a ragtag group of misfits gather around their common ideals: life, liberty, and the pursuit of victory.
Maybe all of this is familiar, maybe all of it is new - no matter how long you've been with us, we encourage you to sit back enjoy the show.
The production team consisted of 190+ members, and a thriving community server on discord. This Chapter contains 3 original songs, and is fully illustrated in an animatic style.

This chapter served as a proper setup for Fundy, The story is subtly setting up his arc well. I can see now the devastation that awaits him. Fundy in the original story was driven by his need to make an impact, be important, be appreciated. But even after his greatest efforts, he could be written out and the story wouldn't change. This is why he is my favorite character. During doomsday he realizes that he never made a difference, that he will never manage to amount to anything, and he gives up. This is explicitly shown when Quackity recruits him and his scene after Wilburs' apology. And this tragic element of this character is what makes the simple line at 15:16 specifically 15:29 so effective

I love how many musical motifs and lyrics are drawn from Fight With Fire in this chapter and I think there were hints of Regret (aside from the end credits obviously)!! Also the incorporation of My L’Manberg in the first song was amazing! So nostalgic 🥲
Love the subtle reference to Fundy's mom in canon being a Salmon so uhh make of that what you will (He's basically the male and human version of the Splat3 player Gao)
I can't say this enough, but I love Tommy's actor, he's too perfect.
THIS WAS FANTASTIC. I thought nothing could beat the first chapter, but this? Fundy's introduction? THE SONGS? GODDDDDD DREAM GOING "WELL WELL WELL LOVERBOY" IT KILLED ME I love everything here, perfect and amazing and couldn't be better, also the "have a carrot, calm yourself" SO MANY MEMORIES PFFFFFF

I was just happily overwhelmed with how much this feels like its own cartoon. Every little detail was given with so much love and dedications, it seems you've known what made these people likeable better than they do. There is soul in this; So keep going! The fandom may have gotten small, but in the hands of this we might be able to get it back and make it better!

I love everything about this so much, and even if the fandom's died down a bit, people can still appreciate a good re-telling of the story. I loved the bg charaters, and got attached to like five immediately (white fox mask guy with the letter, some rando with a purple leaf tail, and the goat hybrid with spamton glasses. Are the ones i remember)
was pretty surprised to see that this project was still going. Glad that it is though, letting this project die before a proper finishing point would be a shame.

finally got around to sit down and watch it all and OOH MY GODD!!!!!!!! I'm so so proud of the team for pushing through and getting this done, to finally see it all together made it ALL WORTH IT. I also just want to praise the improvement in making all the different style mash so well, it wasa SEAMLESS holy shit and a personal favorite: the Regret instrumental in the credits...... that's a teaser for sure (I love that song with all my heart, i'll never stop saying it, I heard ALL THE LYRICS in my head). anyway WOOHOO, INCREDIBLY EXCITED FOR PART TWO, I NEED TO GET MY WORK DONE ON THAT, RAAHHH
LET'S GOOOO!! I've been waiting for chapter 2 for a long time, keep up the great work guys! And i really hope that the other fellow dream smp fans (either if they left the fandom or not) would notice and watch it for the fun and nostalgia!! I love the song where Tommy convinces Wilbur that what they should do to claim their independence is to fight! And i cried so much tears when Fundy showed up and him and Wilbur had such father-son bond. I just love this so much. ❤❤❤

The music is SO GOOD IN THIS ONE! WHJSJEJS! AAAH! This is so much shorter than chapter 1, and yet it holds so much more nostalgia and information! KEEP IT UP THIS IS SO GOOD
