Artisan kitchen knife: Hatchet / Cutelo / Kitchen axe.
My main interest in making this ax is for outdoor use.
I like nature and cooking. I want to combine the two when possible and this new tool is good company.
I hope you like this video and it can be useful for anyone who wants to try it. So I leave the design below.

  • Hermosa manufactura Leandro. La verdad concuerdo, el acero de disco es relativamente fácil de conseguir y para comenzar a trabajar es buenísimo. Alguna ves tuve problemas con la dureza pero haciéndole templado y revenido queda una calidad muy aceptable al final. Gracias por el contenido. Like y un saludo como siempre.

    • Yo hice la prueba de someter al fuego unas herraduras y luego al aceite de girasol usado caliente y quedaron bien.

    • Gracias por comentar! Claro, el choque térmico endurece el acero, haciendo que la duración del material sea mayor. No es completamente necesario que lo temple, pero es recomendable enfriar constantemente el material para que no pierda la dureza de fabrica.
