I don't think so. I tried to understand rust strings from that book and i failed. This other book from oriellly explains them better.

1. All on GitHub :) it's all open source. 2. Yes I have! I try everything I show off in my videos. Some developers might not find them as useful but that's the point. You can pick and choose. 3. Yes, my business is a software agency, I code for 8 hours a day and then do my KZhead videos during the evenings

Nay, they're pretty good. They also claim not to be for total beginners but for someone who already knows the basics of programming. They don't teach programming, they teach Rust, and very well indeed
