Stanley’s resume must be a novel
Stanley=sims barbie
@@Qtopian lol Accurate! I want a little Stanley Humphrey doll now for my Sims. Also I always found it annoying how the doll house has dolls the Sims play with but Maxis never gave us versions we can display or use without the doll houses. I know there's CC and the two different superhero toys but I want official toy versions of those and/or the MySims trophies.
So is his eulogy 😂
hes the kirk of the sims universe
@@nataliem.9186 i was just gonna write that lol
I'm absolutely LOVING watching simsie go back and play through old packs. It's brought back some memories and love for old careers I had completely forgotten about
i like it bc it’s nice to see like an “updated version” if you will, of how the packs function after small updates and fixes.
💯
if being a scientist was like this in real life i would actually cry
sadly there's a lot more paperwork and e-mails and applying for grants 😭😭
The scientist career is 100% the most fun career in Sims 4 imo. It's always my favourite part of starting the Not So Berry challenge lol
It's definitely my favorite active career
I love the freeze ray and the duplicator, I had my sim bring those home from work.
This is exactly why I don’t like it lol
@@soimsha. hahaha that’s fair 😆 I always put down a lot that isn’t the original which makes it a lot more fun for me. The one that comes with the pack is way too huge. Helps a ton imo!
I’ve only ever played as the scientist but I love it I don’t even want to try any of the rest 😭
stanley wearing normal clothes traumatized me I feel like I saw something I shouldnt have seen
So true 😂
Why is no one talking about how good looking Stanley actually is outside of the hotdog 😭😂
Legit smokeshow
right like he's fiiiiineee
I was just thinking the same thing!! He’s handsome, I had no idea lol
Kinda Dacre Montgomery
Idk what you mean. Stanley is the hot dog 😂
Love how whenever he isn’t wearing his hotdog suit she says he’s naked
I would have figured that meant he was just sans bun.
Maybe he’s a never nude?!?! Lol it is unsettling though, I genuinely don’t recognize him out of the Hotdog suit
The scientist career specifically makes me think of Dil Howlter. 😭
You can't say that name man... Brings me back...
transformation of the day is.....
I just rewatched the Dill videos
My heart…
Same, that sims series was the first i watched
Ok but am I the only one who would love to see lilsimsie make a challenge where she builds a house and decorates it only using the random furniture that the SimRay provides?
That would actually be AMAZING
one of these days Stanley should get his own house/tiny house build inspired by hotdogs and money and... whatever else hotdogs are into
If you play the scientist career long enough, your sim can visit a Human party on Sixam
this career always reminds me of dil howlter
Yes!
I'm so happy I'm not the only one! LMAO
Transformation of the day! That was the time
"normally I give him an empty lot, but I thought today he could have a tent". Simsie being nice today
Stanley should run a vet clinic next
You should do spellcasters next, as some spells give you ways to earn money
she has done it
I so badly wish she read comments so this could happen 😢😢😢
Hey Kayla, it's a little late for this, but for future reference, you can use MCCC to change your sim's career outfit, so you could make sure Stanley always has his hot dog suit on
Is it just me or does Stanley look a little fine in that lab coat? 👀
I really hope simsie does a dineout rags to riches with stanley where she starts with a hotdog stand and tries to turn it into a michelin star hotdog restaurant
You can buy roses on the computer under gifts. They're expensive but if you plant them it pays off. I love the scientist career and I always get the pre-made lab in the "ready to use" rooms. It has all the science stuff and easily be made a nice tiny home for your sim.
Stanley being afraid of death with no preamp, could be he's remembering his past lives at the hands of Lilsimsie!😂
i hadn't thought about it until i watched this video but get to work and strangerville should have so much cross pack compatibility but i dont think they do 🥺
i want real life scientists to watch this video
the scientist is by far my fave active career.
Stanley is like Barbie but chaotic and he's a hotdog 😂
Build video idea: Furnishing with only transformed items and do a randomized number for a lot value to work towards as the "item budget"
This is the best career in the game, period.
Did anyone notice Stanley put out the fire with the freezing ray?? I love that kind of tiny details!
it would be fun to see you try and decorate a house using mostly items you get from the simray
Challenge idea: You have to decorate a house without buying anything in build mode. You you have to use other in game means to get things like the transformer, dumpster diving, flea market etc.
the not so berry challenge made me love get to work so much. it's honestly a really good solid pack for the early generation.
I’m currently playing with two sims in the science career and yeah- I have like infinite robot salvage parts and so many crystals and metals from the career goals always asking me to ask a co-worker for them It’s genuinely a pretty fun career, especially since there’s stuff you can do once you’re finished filling up the progress bar thing that’s just kinda fun (I spend the last few hours of every work day building or upgrading the rocket or exploring space) And you get such cool stuff from basically being forced to invent them
Seeing Stanley without his suit is outright unnerving
Have a good time hanging out with your friends! ❤
You should try to do some kind of challenge where you use the sim ray to transform objects and then use those objects you get to try and decorate a house or something
the simray turns stanley into a real human 😳
I adore the scientist career because of the not so berry challenge💖, actually my scientist 1st gen sims just passed today 😢
11:44 the easiest way to get roses is to purchase a gift and buy the flower that way. It’s still 144 simoleons but it’s an easy way to get it!
I actually really love using Mongolia Promenade to put retail adjacent public lots (e.g. Teen hangout type spots, cemetery, restaurants, etc) but because I don't actually use the stuff that came with it, it almost feels like it should be basegame or like dine out or smth instead
If you need a rose while at work for the scientist career, you can always use the purchase gift option on the cellphone! That’s what I always do 😂
I didn’t know Get to Work came out in 2015. It came out a month before my son was born. I have loved it since I got it! The science career is fun!
the buy mode for get to work is some of my favorite, if you like building dungeons and underground lairs this is the pack for you lol
I remember you've done it already but I'm happy about it because my gen 17 Sim will be a scientist, and I see how fun it is again!!
i had a sim family that ran a bakery. i honestly love making stores/bakeries (i dont have dine out for resteraunts tho)
The scientist career is my favourite! Even though it's repetitive, you get really cool stuff out of it! Also because you unlock *new* stuff!
I don't think I have ever played with the science career. I forgot it existed
Definitely one of the most fun playable careers. So silly
@@tungstensmum1491 🙈
Really enjoyed this video! Was super fun n interesting to see a glimpse of the pack
can confirm, i have younger siblings that play the sims on my ea account that werent even born when get to work came out. funniest part is that they do not play with get to work at ALL
I work with children and it disturbs me that some of them were born in 2015, the same year I graduated high school 😭
I was so bored I'm glad to see a Simsie update when I refreshed my feed
7:43 the first time i did this the chair transformed into ✨️another chair ✨️
Thank you for doing what you do Simsie. Your builds and videos always give me inspiration so thank you!!
this is my favorite career as well, i love the collecting aspect. i wish they'd revisit this pack, refreshes are so needed in ts4 since it's been around for so long.
Yes omg thank you for the get to work love, its one of my favourite packs
Oh my gosh, the sim ray could be so useful to use on infants! If they’re playing up, you can just GET them to eat or fall asleep or commit a felony. That’d make everything so much easier! If it works, of course.
omggg! Today, my Sim has just entered the scientist carrier but I wasn’t understanding on how to play it, but then u post this videoo! thank you much Kayla 💞 luv u 😽🫶🏼
I use this career all the time. Love how the animation of that invention machine is so broken...
I haven't had the chance to try this pack, but it reminds me of all the fun I had in The Sims 3 with Ambitions! Playing a scientist Sim is the most memorable part of the time I spent in the Sims 3. Well, that and making couches out of increasingly unusual materials via create-a-style. Ahhh, good times.
this video gave me so much dil howlter nostalgia 😭
Stanley: with my freeze ray I will stop, the world. It’s not a death ray or an ice beam that’s all Johnny Snow
it would be fun to see more pack reviews like this!!
I hope the references to cloning in the behind the sims live was referring to a get to work refresh 🤞
I play as a scientist like once lmao
I like this series a lot. I remember when you did this the first time.
Oh haha I thought this was the transform item update challenge LOL. I hope you do that again sometime.
You should rebuild the lot. Sometimes it's too big. Love your builds and the style you put
Ngl I LOVE the scientist career I use it a lot!!! I find it very fun and I like using the little inventions
Scientist is my favorite gtw career, i play with it all the time even if the some of the animations are broken
Hi! I really think you should try a "no selling" challenge, you can only gain money from work of from events but you can't sell anything from your inventory or from your house, you can only buy things.
YAY! I’ve been waiting to see Stanley again!!!!
Stanley's like Kirk from Gilmore Girls or Barbie. He's had so many jobs, I want to steal his resume.
I just love your videos
this career always reminds me of the mint generation of not so berry, it's honestly one of my favorites!
The scientist career has the best item for any long term challenge... The cloning machine. I get one of each of the aspiration point potions then drink a copy when needed.
Have fun with Sasha and steph! I love your videos ❤
Just buy a rose from the phone under the gifts tab it's near the bottom
I have a visual indicator for how old the sims 4 is- I babysit a kid who was born a couple months before it came out. He's turning 9 in a couple of months. Also his birthday is the same day as Kayla's, August 14th!
I did a challenge once where I could only decorate and use items I got from the transform ray. Similar to dumpster diving. Like if I wanted a bed or counter or toilet I had to get it from transforming other items. And if I got a better item and wanted to get rid of an old item I could only transform it into something else. Once I transformed a chair and got one of the cottage living rabbit holes and a rabbit came out, but then it was useless and I couldn't transform it anymore.
LOL at Kayla feeling old because 8 year olds playing the Sims are younger than Get to Work - when I was 8, not only did my family not have a computer, the original Sims game wouldn't even come out for another 2 years.😅
You’re about 25 then right?
More like 33 😅
She should try and do a build/room challenge where she has to use the sims ray to get items to furnish it?
I'm playing this career right now and just wandering around using the freeze/transform ray on random stuff.
"This increases chances of getting abducted" Well that makes sense. I've been trying out your not so berry challenge and my mint sim got abducted TWICE
Update: forgot to mention it happened a third time before she died.
when you first buy a pack, you play with it in every save, but after like a month of having it, it's kind of just quality of life
The scientist is definitely the best career out of the 3 get to work ones because you just make things and cause chaos. The most chaotic things from the other careers are probably misdiagnosing patients and catching the wrong person
18 MINSSS 😝😝 was just about to look for one of your vids bc i have been binge watching u for two months lmao
I love this career
I have an idea Kayla! Built a tiny home with only items you transform. You start with a certain number of chairs, and you transform them until you get what you need for a house?
And I absolutely agree that Get To Work holds up, I started playing Sims 4 about six months ago, it was one of the first packs I bought, and it's still one of my faves. If I was buying them all from the beginning, knowing what I know now, I'd probably buy Cottage Living first, and Growing Together because I love family gameplay, but Get To Work is still in my top three.
Dude my sim got fear of death… he’s a spell caster who brewed the immortality potion, he can’t die, it’s not age either, he’s a young adult. He’s out of death range for deadly skills, he works with ghosts, so like why is he scared of death 😂
this has made me want to buy this just for the scientist career, aliens, and inventions
Yes, the scientist career is quite fun. Then, there are it's perks. The SimRay, the satellite dish, the duplicator, the worm hole generator... Your Sim can keep them all and pass them as heirlooms. Yes, you WILL get a lot of robot salvage parts when experimenting at that station. But, they are cheap. I really love the transmute function of the SimRay... Go to a museum and transform EVERYTHING on display to something else. Then, transform all the lighting. Then, do the same with the furniture... Don't forget the landscaping.
Scientist carreer rocks. Wish they had more playable carreers out there.
I was just getting into the sims when get to work was released. I had to convince my mom to let me buy because she thought it was pointless because I already had the main game lol. I almostly wanted it for the aliens and had a lot fun telling stories of my aliens trying to live on earth. I feel it was a pretty solid early pack
I loved the transform video 😂 and how the game table turned into a toilet at the end of the video 😂
I love playing in my re-designed Space Lab, the Scientist profession. I always turn my Sim into an evil character aka The Mad Scientist.
My 8 year old Sims loving daughter watching the beginning of this video thinking Simsie is talking about her
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNAP! 🎉😺💗
13:26 i genuine WHEEZEE in this part, seriously.
KZhead video idea: decorate a room fully by whatever is transformed from the cheapest chair
Love your sims videos❤❤❤❤
the scientist career is the proof that careers can be fun even if their repetitive nature, it only depends on how gameplay is designed
MY 7 year old started playing Sims. Mainly building and CAS, game play is a little too hard for him still. He makes so many chaos builds🤣🤣🤣
