  • NO WAY can you have such overwhelming numbers as Jovanie Santiago had... and lose! Santiago connected 207 overall punches versus his 98. Santiago connected 83 jabs versus his 49. Santiago connected 124 power punches versus his 49 (at a rate of 37% versus his 30%). In fact, Santiago threw a total of 697 punches versus his 338. Conclusion: Adrian Boner was granted a "mercy decision" victory. Judges are too often bunglers or just plain dirty, and give the win to the guy who'll be the bigger money-draw in the future.

    • You wild for really thinking he connected 207. They been having a witch hunt out for broner for years now.

      @DaRealNaga@DaRealNaga9 ай бұрын
    • Witch hunt? In October 2016, Broner posted alarming images and captions on his Instagram page hinting suicide and on October 17, 2016, he was charged with battery for choking a waitress at Drai's nightclub in Las Vegas. On April 20, 2017, Broner was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court for an arrest in 2014. On September 10, 2017, Broner was taking pictures with fans in LA. He became aggressive as his female companion tried to restrain him, but Broner shoved her away and delivered a blow that reeled a fan backwards, knocking him out. Broner was issued a summons concerning the incident, but it was returned due to a false address being given. On February 13, 2018, Broner was booked into Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on a sexual battery charge but was later released on bail. In March 2019, Broner was issued a restraining order after making homophobic threats on social media. On December 18, 2019, Broner was ordered to pay over $830,000 for sexually assaulting a woman in a Cleveland nightclub on June 18, 2018. In October 2021, Broner was jailed for a parole violation after failing to enroll in a court-mandated alcohol treatment program.

    • Score card was unanimous Broner easily won off jab. I seen your comment and watched the fight and by end of rd 6 I was saying to myself that they had cheated Sataiago because I had him up 4 Rds to 2 at that point forget what they deducted it should have been a warning. Rd 1 was Satiago rds 2 and 3 were Broners and 4,5, and 6 were Satiagos. Rd 7 the commentators honestly said that was broners best rd at the end of rd and anyone can see that rd 8 and 9 anyone can see he clearly won those two rds also but when we seen some official score cards at 10 they gave broner rds 8 and 9 for the second half at that point of fight while he was winning the 10th. By the 11th rd I only seen Satiago in rd 11 land about 5 or 6 punches getting outclassed and marked up by sneaky uppercut and jab. Broner won 7 rds by the end of 11th and Satiago brought it to him the 12th. It was a close fight I watched it twice and 11th rd 3 times because if Satiago pulled off rd 11 it would have been a draw but Broner came and pulled it off. Broner should do better rd 12 didn’t look so hot at all I love him 7-11 and 1 -3 he did well also even though he lost the 1st rd

  • Santiago didnt land anything substantial..But Broner didnt let his hands go (as usual). I gave it to Broner but not by the ridiculous marging that those judges did. I hope AB dont wait until next year to fight again, because he's not the draw he once was and time is fleeting.
