The human species may drive itself into extinction through its own foolish actions. The planet Earth would be just fine, without us. Think of the dinosaurs.
Left off the list: Our Milky Way galaxy merging with the Andromeda galaxy about 2.5 million light years away. As the Sun reaches the end of its lifespan and turns into a red giant, Andromeda will have grown from a tiny smudge in the sky to fill it from horizon to horizon. As both galaxies merge, most of the stars they contain will become part of the new galaxy in a few billion years that some astronomers already call Milkdromeda. But because of the interactions at play and gravitational forces during this time period, some stars will get kicked out into the cosmic void, presumably with some or all of the planets orbiting them. Or some stars will get spit out bare naked without any of their planetary systems, and some planets will be ripped away from their home stars and cast out as well. Depending on how things turn out with our global civilization - which realistically has about another 500 million years before the sun becomes too hot for anything to stay on Earth - it probably won’t make any difference. Earth will be a goner - either as a burned out cinder orbiting the Sun in its red giant phase, or a frozen BBQ briquet wandering by itself between the galaxies. PS - One more doomsday scenario that should be on the list: A star passes just close enough to our solar system - not enter the solar system like in the video - but just enough to disturb or dislodge the icy objects in Oort Cloud, creating a storm of comets to fall into the solar system proper. Estimated numbers could be in the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, and such a thing could last at least several thousands of years. Any of these objects not captured or deflected by the gravity of Jupiter and/or Saturn would continue on into the inner solar system and pummel the crap out of Mars, Earth and Venus. And there’d be basically nothing anybody could do about it, no matter how advanced civilization may be in the next few million years when such a potential cosmic disaster becomes more likely. And there’s at least one star within the vicinity of our solar system that astronomers have already identified as the candidate most likely to cause a chain of events that may end life on Earth someday. Several times over. PS #2 - Not on the list: Gamma ray burst. A star just big enough and the right type collapses in on itself and emits a massive gamma ray burst aimed directly at Earth. It can be as far away as a couple dozen light years away within our Milky Way galaxy and we wouldn’t not only know what’s hitting us until it’s too late, but millions or billions on the side of the Earth that catches the burst directly would die within hours or days of exposure. This would include animals, plants, sea life, basically sterilizing the surface of our planet. A gamma ray burst would also destroy the Earth’s ozone layer - again, on the side that receives direct exposure - resulting in survivors being exposed to the Sun’s brutal unfiltered UV radiation plus cosmic rays that come from deep space. This would pretty much end any surface life that remains. If there’s any hope, any living things that can stay underground for the several years that it will take for the ozone layer to rebuild itself, they might make it. PS #3 - According to astronomers, our Sun isn’t the right composition to go supernova as claimed in the video. But, when the Sun burns through all of its hydrogen fuel in about 5-6 billion years, it will likely turn into a red giant as it consumes its helium supply to keep going. This will still result in Mercury, Venus, and probably Earth getting swallowed up as the Sun expands - also while the Milky Way begins merging with the Andromeda galaxy. It will be quite a show, if any humans or their descendants are around to witness it from Mars or someplace else in the galaxy. PS #4 - AI may not directly affect or destroy civilization, but AI-generated bots, human replicas and information outlets directed by malicious real human actors, groups or states *could* cause chaos and societal collapse with the distribution of crafted misinformation across social media and other platforms. It’s already been done by right wing political operatives on a limited scale in the United States, but expect more as the general elections approach in November. And even more in the future. It may not be an army of AI robots that will necessarily do us in. It could be humans set against humans because they’ve been influenced by AI.

Number 10 on this list. It probably wont happen today, it'll more than likely not happen tomorrow. But one day, there will be another super eruption.
The Sun has nowhere near enough mass to go supernova, and novae happen in binary star systems. The Sun will enter a Red Giant stage before throwing off its outer layers, leaving only its core as a White Dwarf.

Good thing I'm happily dissociating playing Stardew Valley on my other screen while listening to this. I mean, seven years into dysthymia and generalized anxiety, two months into unemplyment (company went belly-up due to mass corruption and incompetence from them corporate suits incels seem to worship these days), possible CTE after years of martial arts (will know I stop kicking, pardon the pun, heh), and two S-word attempts under my belt... I'm honestly just sticking around for my dog's sake at this point. Yeah, having "one of those days", as unhelpful family members put it (good thing I live alone with my aforementioned pooch), so sorry for oversharing. Then again, just got a week's worth of doomscrolling out of these twenty minutes, so it evens out?

Why did I watch this
I think the likely possible outcome will be the failure of the education system, some of the situation in the video can't be avoided if there is nobody qualified with the knowledge to fix it, we have many technologies today, but those technologies have been conceived by a small percentage of the total world population, I'll use the COVID 19 as an example, a vaccine was achieved by a group of individual scientists, but without qualified scientists due to the lack of proper and high quality education, even all the money in the world can't fix a complex life threatening problem if there is not people qualified with the knowledge.
Very interesting ways to see how we all kick the bucket…
