But yes, the weather is perfect, the people are friendly here, and the only people who are not friendly here are the ones who just moved here from a place where they became used to people were not friendly. But, like all those new people, they eventually loosen up. I've traveled all over the United States and I can tell you by experience that the central Coast of California is the best place to live in the whole United States! We look forward to sharing it with you! 😘

I just inherited my grandparents home in the hills overlooking Morro Bay. I have been coming up there since I was kid and I love it!!! I am so blessed to now have a vacation home to take advantage of. Thanks for sharing such a cool video.

I had to move out of state a little over 4 years ago because my family and I could no longer afford the cost of living there, but I long to go back constantly. This popped up on my recommended page and I was speechless. Visiting hasn't been possible for me, and I'm tearing up at the fact I get to see so much of where I spent the first 18 years of my life again. Once again, thank you for visiting SLO and making this amazing video, and I'm so glad you had such a good time there. I've never seen home look so beautiful!

SLO...my favorite spot on the central coast. Watch out for the seagulls, they'll decorate your head but not in a good way! Live in Austin now but sure do miss that area and hope to see it again someday. Thank you guys (see, just watching this brings out my Calif.) Pismo and SLO county remind me of childhood. I’ve been multiple times through the late 90’s through 00’s and Pismo is the first ocean I ever swam in as a child. First love. The ocean. California will always be home.

I was born in Bakersfield, and though I've now spent much more of my life in Arizona, CA still holds a place in my heart. It's still home. I spent so much of my childhood in Pismo, Morro, and SLO. I still make a point of visiting these areas whenever I visit family in Bako. Idrk what my point of posting this is except that sometimes I get a little home sick and this very well crafted video made me happy. Thanks.

This warms my heart ♥ I am a Cal Poly grad, and I wish I would have appreciated SLO more when I was there for college. Fortunately, we are still residents of Northern California, so we do get an opportunity to go back from time to time. Man, you were there at a good time it seems, at Pismo anyway. There are very few people around! And, I love the Splash cafe! During the years I spent in SLO, I never went to the architectural "graveyard," nor did I climb Bishops Peak, but we did party at the "P" though!! 😆🥤
We felt like we were there at a great time also….lots of greenery, wildflowers, and not so many people! Thanks for watching!

The boondocking spot looked amazing and that clam chowder was great, especially how they packaged it to go for you. First time I ever heard of tri-tip sandwiches. You both are seeing some very beautiful areas of the coastline. Cannot wait to see Big Sur.

This area is SO beautiful…that campsite had such great views and that Sunset❣️🌄 Those green rolling hills, the coastline, the flowers, the peer and drone shots, the blowhole and it goes on and on! I understand why this area is one of your favorites in California! Hey Adam, Kathryn, and Kona! I love your channel and have been following your adventures for a while. There are few that stand out to me as particularly inspiring. Can you please make some compilation videos with commentary on your favorite national parks and landmarks?
We may do that one day. At the moment our workload with just filming and editing our current adventures is maxed out. If we film stuff like this it’ll be during our “downtime” when we’re home in Austin usually around the holidays. Thanks for the suggestion though and thanks for watching!

your boondocking spot is my favorite place to smoke a joint. Sometimes i would drive up there myself and just chill out there for awhile.
We had alot of fun in that area as well! I love the small town vibe with the gorgeous scenery. Good weather too! Not hot like LA and SD, but not as cold as SF.
Just like a guy told us in Scout Coffee...."you're in the best part of the Central Coast"...he's right!

Hey-ooo! That's a good one! 😃 It is a delicate balance for us as well. We don't want to gate keep because we want to share these places with people, but we also don't want them ruined by people who don't treat them with respect. There are plenty of parks and cool spots for everyone...especially if we all take care of them!
