The Coal Iron Works Induction Forge is used for quick and precise heating operations during forging and heat treating. Amperage control is provided to dial in the heat you need.
Included is an induction forge and a pre-connected industrial chiller, providing a 100% duty cycle for your most demanding needs! Standard coil (1.5" ID) is shipped with the unit but we provide many options for coil shapes and sizes. Contact us with custom coil designs at Info@coaliron.com.

A larger unit that still runs on single phase power looks like a real game changer. Time to start setting some funds aside and figure out how o run the new circuit.

I had a chance to play with one for a little bit during a class, pretty impressive! The remote cord being on the front right next to where the hot work is done makes me a little nervous
That cord can be a little pesky at times, but it's just another thing you've got to be cautious about when forging :) glad you liked the unit when you got to try it!

We've had great luck melting down about 1lb of steel for wootz pucks! We haven't experimented with any other alloys or non-ferrous metals yet- but more testing is underway! Would love to hear about what kind of work you need this thing to accomplish for you. We'll do some testing and see what we can find out :)
The big issue is how much is the cost over a US solid that will do the job
This may seem like a hurdle, however the US solid will only grant you a heating unit and it's more than likely not a single phase 25kW unit. What you're getting for our higher pricing is an incredible heating unit that is still single phase power paired with an industrial chiller that refrigerates and cycles your water, giving you a 100% duty cycle on your machine. You're also getting a warranty and American customer support!
