    • I don’t think they will focus on parkour for Red sadly given it is an RPG title and because it is being made by Quebec, stealth and combat will probably get a big focus though, rumor has it Quebec has been developing new stealth mechanics for Red, one of them being the ability to turn off lights so guards can’t see you. Sounds good on paper but I wonder how good you’ll be able to see yourself. Hope Quebec can surprise me with some good parkour though.

At least that gives more realistic expectations I guess… Still though, I’ve read a bunch of leaks for Red, they may not be true but if they are this game might actually be really good, even despite of being an RPG, so there is still hope, and given the same source leaked the entire existence of Mirage, Nexus and Red there’s a good chance the leaks are in fact real. Time will tell I guess… and even if they aren’t there is at least Hexe to look forward too, which is seemingly not going to be an RPG title

    • @@jormdeworm Yeah I heard about those stealth mechanics. Which makes me happy. I feel like, with the two different characters (one a Samurai and the other a Shinobi), Red will offer two very distinct experiences - one that will focus on combat and the other on stealth. So both crowds will be pleased. As for parkour, we'll see. The official reveal was a ninja jumping on a rooftop, so fingers crossed haha

  • Respect to Ubisoft in making a VR game while all other AAA devs are skipping because of revenue. If noone's pushing a new tech, it will go nowhere same as our console games today. Don't be selfish and take a bit of sacrifice so we all can enjoy and push our tech forward!

    • Quest 2 sold 20 million in 2 years, which outpaced both Xbox series consoles combined. This isn't some 1-5 million user base market anymore. People are stuck in 2019 with how they view the market. It's grown tremendously.

    • @@velaikka yeeeeah, every their game using same openworld formula including rocksmith, mariorabbids, valiant hearts, child of light, rayman legends, anno 1880, r6 siege, trackmania, for honor, south park))))) i dont even mention VR games, lol. and even if they using THEIR own formula in NUMEROUS franchises, idk, maybe its cus good and working well? even then, where you can find games like riders republic or division or watch dogs or ghost recon? you CANT. even AC and FC no one can properly recreate. also they using FRESH settings. while we have "godlike" rockstar who basically REUSING settings like liberty city, los santos and vice city. for one time they could use something new but it wouldnt surprise me that GTA7 released in 2050 would set in liberty city. again. and i bet even then they not gonna have proper stealth mechanics, lol. also, if you gonna pull "reusing formula" card, then at this point rockstar reusing their formula since 2001 lmao. or bethesda since 2002)) i mean yeah, ubisoft known for putting quantity over quality, but thats not big problem for openworlds with proper mechanics and good art direction. unless you want story driven experience, then ubisoft not your cup of tea.

  • I've wanted this longer than I've even been an assassin's creed fan. I a fairly new fan but I have had an experience similar to AC VR with Blade and sorcery and the stealth in that game. That experience makes me hyped as hell for this as I would love to play a game with that playstyle in mind. And I feel having previous experience with being a VR assassin in that game will give me a slight edge as I've trained myself on how to sneak up on the enemy and stab them without being noticed by the others. I'm not sure if it will be in this game but covering the enemies mouth is great at reducing noise, and paired with slitting their throat it becomes incredibly quiet.

  • Just wanted to say ubi you've done it i am absolutely loving ac mirage the amount of depth is put in the Baghdad is astonishing and with that level of detail the parkour ties in perfectly. There are a lot of hidden animations in the parkour. Cant wait for ubisoft Bordeaux to make another ac game

Mi sono commosso quando mi sono ritrovato con Ezio giù per le strade italiane, le musiche originali sono stupende e creano un'atmosfera unica... Si respira l'essenza dei vecchi Assassin's creed... E il modo un cui avete trasposto questo gioco in realtà virtuale è davvero ottimo...   • I think Aguilar De Nerha would have also been a good choice. I personally really liked the movie and loved the outfit, I never took it off in Origins for a full game. I hope to see him, and the rest of the cast from the movie, once more some time

I wish Ubisoft gave the option of either Kassandra or Alexios instead of just primarily choosing one and leaving the other in the dust.     • Facebook probably paid ubisoft a lot of money for them to make this. They need to give people a reason to buy their headset. However, assassins creeds playerbase is all PC, PlayStation, and Xbox users. PlayStation users are going to get PSVR, pc users are going to get anything but a meta quest, and xbox users, well idk. Point is that no one is gonna buy a meta quest for one game. This is basically a game for no one.

    • @@DoubleU159 the Meta quest is huge it is cheap but you can plug it into your pc and use all the Steam VR games infact Meta quest are some of the most popular VR headsets on the market, PSVR 2 has pretty much no games worth getting and most are already on PC, most PC uses have a meta quest already because when using the Steam VR app it uses your pcs power and not the power of the headset making the Quest perfect for pc players

    • You know, when playing in VR the hardware needs to process two monitors in a decent resolution and both to 60 fps (minimum required to not feel nauseous), so it's quite normal to play at this kind of graphics (especially on consoles)

  • I have three notes. Obviously, it isn't going to be as cool as Bonelab or I.E.Y.T.D. for cool, innovative vr physics, but as long as the mobility and combat are engaging and immersive, it should be fun. On a personal note, a story about Conner/Ratonhakeiton (or however the heck it's spelled) loses a portion of its charm without Haytham Kenway, but it'll be nice to hear Conner's voice again. I shudder to think of what janky bugs will come out of a Ubisoft *vr* game.
