"A Shop for Killers" is really the best suspense action series! It has a unique & compelling story line, not your usual action series, interesting & charismatic characters, insertion of past & current events has perfect timing, humor & background music were well embedded in every scene, & most of all, portrayal of all the actors were superb. Plus, Lee Dong Wook as Jeong JinMan is so enigmatic!

I'm in the USA. Never thought I would like the kdrams. Love every one, good story line, director. Haven't watch any thing on American t.v. Beautiful Actors, Actresses. Favorite Karamazov Secret Romance. Mr. Queen. Love the theme song Here I Am.

"Queen of Tears" and "Marry My Husband" are 2 that I couldn't WAIT until the next episode. Both are a MUST watch. I'll always be a HUGE fan of Rowoon's "Tomorrow" which aired a couple years ago.

Might be because the first two dramas have finished airing so you get the full picture, where as QoT is around half way (even though it is doing really well and seems to be increasing viewership every week).

WonderfulWorld from the first seconds I was surprised, each chapter better than the previous one, damn it, it gave you answers but also doubts, and tears, I have been watching kdramas for years and I had never seen such a complete ending, I cried with happiness in the last minutes 1000000 /10
I really enjoyed Marry my husband, but it could have been cut down from 16 episodes to 12. It seemed to drag towards the end. A shop for killers and a killers paradox, was also good, but I truly enjoyed Moving. That would be my number 1 so far.
Moving was last year so it wouldn't be on this list. I think MMH would be the #1 drama of 2024 if they didn't add the BoA plot line. Her character kind of ruined a lot of peoples view of the show and was really unnecessary I think. They had enough other plot lines going on that they could have expanded on to keep the 16 ep format and give those plots their due imo

I truly adore how "A Shop for Killers" left an impact on my view about how korean action drama should be, it's like watching everything happens in front of you so exceptionally that you'd think you're actually in it!! I highly recommend!! It deserves more recognition. P.s I beg for s2!!

A shop for killers is the only kdramas that i didn't get bored watching even through the end . personally doctor slump, wedding impossible,a queen of tears get boring in some episodes😭 You actually know how to rate kdramas

A Shop For Killers is so awesome! I rewatched it twice. Lee Dong Wook is just an unbelievable actor. Always fun to watch what he'll play in next. Thanks for this list. I'm not into romance and other than that is hard to find but now I have great K-Drama to watch thanks to you. I really really likes Bloodhound from last year. I want more of those.
I really enjoyed Flex X Cop and thought it was very good overall, I’m super stoked it’s getting a second season.

Though It's only the 1st half of 2024 so far but I already got my 3 masterpieces : 1. Shop for the Killers (The style of story telling is what makes it phenomenal & Lee Dong Wook's unapproachable yet familiar character(His cold composer even in bloodbathe) is just makes him more appealing..more bewitching... 2. Revenant..(Always glued to the screen even at the very last ep..just like "SFTK"..Kim Taeri was great ).. 3. Moving...(the theory of having power is what fascinates me here...)

I’ve watched 7 out of this list. The most thought-provoking for me was The Pyramid Game. The actor Moon Sang-Min was a nice discovery for me this year (in the Wedding Impossible). It was nice to see Jun Jong-Seo in a romance after so many badass roles.

Marriage imposible ❤❤ this underdogs become giants..from money heist, under queens umbrella and start up..they are doing great as supporting roles..and queen of tears..this two dramas makes you cry laugh out loud upset and all emotions will blow your mind.. can't get enough until the next episode come out😂😂

i really hate cliffhanger, i start watching queen of tears last night and i just finished episode 14 few minutes ago while waiting for the last 2 episodes i'm here looking for recommendations to watch, i will watch doctor slump, watching straight non stop slight nap is my only rest i will finish watching this series before airing of the last episode of queen of tears😂
Loved the bequeathed , a killer paradox found it hard to get in to and got bored of it quickly . Captivating the King also got boring I just couldn't warm up to the female role in it . A shop for killers can't wait for season 2 loved it . Also The Impossible Heir had a really slow start and it's such a shame because now it's almost the ending it is really good.
Marry my husband was so good through and thorugh 😭 But as a Park Min-Young fan i'm kinda biased...

Wedding impossible sounded like it would be a great premise with the FMC being an extra actress but it lost me when it just became another romantic comedy.

Wonderful World, Captivating the King and Queen of Tears, Shop for Killers are worth the watch. Skip Love Song for Illusion, Dr. Slump, Wedding Impossible, Flex Cop and Marry My Husband. The latter kdramas started out ok but quickly went downhill. I fast forwarded so many episodes. They were so disappointing.

I liked Marry My Husband. I started to watch it again!!
I enjoyed "The Bequeathed" The twist is🤢🤢🤢but that helps you understand the character's pain. I really enjoyed the first 4 episodes of "Captivating The King". But I the FL in man's clothing got tiring. Amazing cast and everyone came ready to do their thing but it just got tiring. "Knight Flower" I reeeeally loved it but cannot tell you why exactly. Well, the cast is awesome and the pacing was really good. Ooooh-"Queen of Tears" Mr. Born Cute is proving why he gets paid the big bucks. Mrs. Ice bucket is amazing. So far it is the best drama of 2024 for me. I am just scared that her illness is taking a backseat to the family storyline but, there's still enough time to get to that and have her be healthy with kids at the end. That 3 minutes "Vincenzo" scene was ridiculous, funny and endearing at the same time. My nurse was removing my iv drip and got very upset because I jumped and screamed. I could not believe what I was just watching, I absolutely loved it🥰🥰🥰

As someone who has watched all of these dramas, it’s very hard for me to rank them because they were all great! I have personal favorites that have a high rewatchable rating in my book. But they were all well acted, greatly scripted, and there was something for everyone so far.

There are no TV shows like My Dearest, I have watched hundreds of K-Dramas, C-Dramas and J-Dramas and I haven't found any like My Dearest, I like Historical old Dramas like - The Great Queen Seondeok(2009) - Empress Ki (2013) - Dong Yi (2011) Also like from mid 2000's - Moonlovers Scarlet Heart Ryeu - The Moon Embracing the Sun - The Red Sleeve - 100 Days My Prince And modern - My Dearest - Mr Queen - Under the Queen's Umbrella - All the King's Affection My Dearest is my favorite with Mr Queen and Under the Queen's Umbrella close second

@meadowly1179 Dong Yi is awesome, such a beautiful story and is Historical of the life of Royal Consort SukBin, is in Rakuten Viki under the name Jewel in the Crown, watch it, you will love it. I m currently watching The King Loves, is also very good but you gotta be prepared to a non-conventional ending
