Protesters block coach taking asylum seekers to Bibby Stockholm in London
Protesters in Peckham blocked a coach on Thursday intended to take asylum seekers to the Bibby Stockholm barge.

Dozens of people were seen surrounding the coach before police arrived to clear them away and carried out arrests. The coach was eventually released and drove away. The Metropolitan police’s deputy assistant commissioner Ade Adelekan said officers had engaged with protesters at the scene and had warned them they could be arrested.

What is done to (or for) the least privileged could cost us all our freedom and rights eventually if we are not humanitarians first and citizens second. Liberty. Equality. Unity.
I'd prefer providing for legitimate asylum seekers instead of the absolute majority that are economic migrants that otherwise would not gain entry if they applied for a visa.
@@LiamL763 - The decision on their immigration status has nothing to do with the regressive early 20th century lunacy that is the Rwanda plan. This is just a crime against humanity and a moral failure of this administration and the public writ large (with its majority support).

Err its a barge owned by the Bibby line and it`s name is Stockholme. It was used during the Falklands war as a floating barracks.
