Join me in refusing to believe the lies and speaking out against them because we know we are who GOD SAYS WE ARE! Also includes some thrifting and backyard projects, hehe enjoy!! Please "like" this video, it really helps our channel + thanks for watching fam!

  • I think why your content matters to a lot of us is because this is exactly what we’re doing with our lives: gardening, considering choice of schools in the future, dealing with lack of sleep, thrifting our kids clothing and home decor, cooking three meals a day… thanks for being vulnerable and for sharing the ordinary moments. ❤

    • This is so me right now, dealing with my two daughters under 5, going to school, house cleaning, cooking, bathing them, laundry, studying and not to talk about the lack of sleep i have been experiencing for a while now sad😢😢 , i literally feel so sick these days, my eyes are hurting and my head feels like its falling off, jeez Lord help me. I find myself crying sometimes because the more I clean the more they mess up everything in the house, my room looks a mess, i can go on the whole day.

  • After you said that you are worried that no one is interested with what you have to share I knew I had to come down here and tell you this video meant so much to me! I am in a very similar situation with 3 kids (two toddlers and one baby) with house projects out the wahzoo and just feeling so defeated every day! I’m not feeding my kids the best stuff for them, I’m not doing a good enough job but I’m trying my best! What you have to share is so important and so appreciated! It made me feel like I wasn’t alone in all this!

  • Who you are as a person is why people watch your content. Your personality is captivating and, personally, I love the calm nature about you. I think everyone out there, even people with the most adventurous of lifestyles, feel similar at times. We’re always going to perceive ourselves and our life in a different, less interesting way. It’s hard to visualize and put into perspective how other people view us from a third person pov. Anyways, I love your style, your motherhood content, and seeing the progress you are making on your home. I’m not a Christian, but I still feel you are very relatable to me in other ways.

  • You know the topic about putting yourself down really hit me 😩 sometimes we don't realize we are doing it. I have 3 babies too a 6 year old in 1st grade a 2 year old and a 6 month old 🥹 times it very good to feel like a good mom especially when you have to put yourself last at times. Between juggling the kids and picking up my oldest from school and dropping him off and cooking, cleaning, and still have time for your partner 😩 it's so exhausting at times and i hate that i also compared myself to other moms on social media but then my fiancé brings me back to reality 😫 but to whoever reads this you are more than enough you are strong, a awesome mom, and wife

I want to see how your yard looks when the grass finally grows back, how you decorate your house, how you manage everything with 3 kids when I can't even sort just my own life. And I know I am not the only one.

  • Duuudee the mom comparison on social media spoke to my soul. Especially watching homesteading channels for meal ideas and these women just keep having babies, homeschool, manage a massive garden and still continue to get everything done and never seem to be overwhelmed. And we KNOW it’s a highlight reel and not an accurate representation and yet we still can’t help but negatively compare ourselves. 😅

  • Love your garden updates! You’ve gotten so much done! Go easy on yourself, prior to having a baby I would do several hours of yardwork a week. I planted tons of shrubs and perennials and after having a baby I was shocked at how little I could get done and how much I now have to try and keep up with. I’ve come to realize it’s just not a very compatible hobby with having little ones because most tasks take a long time but I know I’ll get back to being able to spend full days in the yard when I have bigger kids some day.

  • I’ve come back to KZhead recently and felt similarly. My house is 109 years old. I have wood trim and am not even in a position financially to be a SAHM yet. I questioned if my life was worthy of sharing too: I think people love/need to see normal lives. On top of that. It’s exciting seeing someone you enjoy watching grow in life! Whether that be financially, emotionally, and mentally. Something I have been doing is trying to find ways to creatively film the “mundane”. By pushing my creativity it’s also made doing my housework way more enjoyable! 🤍

I live in a very gender role specific area and its really a breath of fresh air to see a mom who is involved with the yard work oe house projects. Everyone around me is very mom does inside dad does outside, however my husband works 5 12hr shifts and i do more outside yard work than anyone i know as a SAHM/PT worker. Girl sometimes us moms need to see this kind of content to be invested. Its like girl were friends (lol) spill the tea even if its not juicy.

  • I find nothing more discouraging than picture-perfect content of someone’s super “interesting” life vlogged without a hint of vulnerability or flaw. This is why the people who watch your channel seem so genuine, kind, earnest - just like you and your family. You’ve shared something just about every mom experiences but so few feel brave enough to say out loud. Thank you for saying it out loud! The mundane is where the beautiful can be seen and found, if you are looking! 💕

  • I love your content so much Nicole! I am in the same season of life with being a first time homeowner with now tons of yard work and currently about to have 2 under 2! The yard work is no joke haha, I was not prepared for spending hours and hours a week in the yard just for it to currently feel like we’ve barely gotten anything done yet haha! And I also am being vulnerable and saying that I compare a lot too as of lately, but recently it’s more so been the other Women/ moms at my church! I see a lot of the moms have multiple kids and have time to work out, and just seem like they really have it all together as far as homemaking and mothering goes! The Enemy has really got in my head, and made me believe lies about myself, about how I’m not good enough or that I could be doing so much more, so much better, and so I’ve been needing God’s Word and armor more than ever! 💖

  • Self doubt is a common occurrence with moms that doesn't get addressed enough. Thank you for practicing combating this on camera and sharing! It's inspiring for me for my own life.

  • Whenever I see your video pop up, I cannot wait to watch what you have to talk about. Gardening is a big interest of mine so I would personally love seeing more content around that. Also, please consider making videos about home schooling because most likely that is what route I’ll be taking with my daughter:) I can relate so much with the negative thoughts/lies that I end up believing! Thank you for showing me a way to catch them and tell myself what God’s truth says. Excited for more Nicole content💕

  • Hi Nicole, totally understand how you’re feeling about those lies we tell ourselves. Rooting you on as you work through those, it’s not easy. I love watching very ordinary normal life things on KZhead. As a busy mom with a full time job, it soothes me, it’s like catching up with a friend.

  • Keep going mama! And you are right, that is a lie. I love your content and the things you post/share. It might seem simple to you, but to people viewing it, it’s actually very motivating!! I want to start gardening myself. I also love thrifting and am looking for bigger inexpensive pieces for the huge bare wall above our stairs. I enjoy your mom vlogs or whatever it is you decide to share in your day to day life. You’re doing an awesome job being a mother! ❤️

  • Girl, post whatever satisfies you/ makes you happy. I enjoy anything you post. You’re one of the only yt moms i relate to and i really enjoy your honesty. I love watching you think about how to make your kids happy and the creative activities you find. Its so hard being a mom and you make it super relatable. I love the leoppkys family channel for ex but i sometimes feel down on myself bc im not waking up at 5 am to care for the house, prep food and make things from scratch. Im not hating but ermagerd id be dying of exhaustion if i did everything she did. And id be lying if i said i didnt try to do what she does sometimes. I think of it as a nice aspiration/ a quintessential example of motherhood but, motherhood is sooooo hard… its ok not to be perfect

  • Nicole I needed this video! I cried and felt so seen, because that is life currently for me. Handling my emotions and my little ones, dealing with comparison and mom guilt, taking every thought captive. I will start journaling I think that’s a wonderful idea so I can pray over every thing that makes life so overwhelming in this season. Thank you for being real and encouraging ❤

  • I think you’re doing a great mix of content posts. I follow on IG too and because I see you there in between the YT vids, it’s very consistent. Balance is so important most of us would probably rather have updates on your terms that are sustainable for you and the family. God bless you and your sweet family! Ps, also love the yard content 😉
