The chance for Pulisic at the end there was also largely created by him. He did really well to find the one two with Kanté and beat his man before laying it out to Lukaku. Everyone from Silva to Lukaku did everything perfectly in that move. I have no idea what part of Pulisic’s brain malfunctioned.

Alonso is truly one of our BEST finishers in CFC's history....he has his faults and is divisive in fan opinions but i will remember him fondly and wish him well if he leaves this season. Great player.

For me, it has to be James. Big up Hakim, but James basically created what should have been two goals today out of thin air. That Alonso assist needs no explanation and the golden chance Pulisic missed at the end was entirely product of Reece and his quick feet. He used Kanté for a quick one two to get behind his man then released Lukaku behind the line perfectly. Ziyech was great, but James was my MOTM.
Never will understand who at real mardid decided to put alonso at left back. The man decided to stay there his whole career. Could have been chelsea's top goalscorer if he was an attacker

No, it doesnt work like that. He has the advantage with not being in an attacking position by arriving from deep from the back inmarked usually to make his run ins and score. If he would be in place of a striker or attacking forward he would be marked much better and he has no pace and strength.

Pulisic at the end summed up our season. Some beautiful stuff, almost there, and then not finished off. We could have had a treble this season, even not considering the league or UCL...

The two goals showed the best and worst of Marcos Alonso. On the one hand he can score great goals from audacious angles, on the other hand he has no defensive mindset. That has always been the problem with Alonso: he is a non-defender playing in a primarily defensive role.

Yes, this was Pulisic's worst moment as a Chelsea player, but lets not overreact. If you actually watched the full 90, James and Ziyech felt like the only two who came to play today. The rest of the team felt like they were running on empty. And if anything, once Pulisic and Lukaku were subbed off, the team only looked less threatening.

Ziyech, for me, instead of a great effort in creating chances and trying to score, unfortunately, it was not translated. He took the second point after James with one comma. They were both dangerous and influential, and Alonso's goal only Ziash wanted a coach that he trusted and an audience that encouraged him.

Pulisic's miss shows he has ways to go...yes, every player has their good days and bad days but Pulisic has too many easy misses...just not good enough. But Chelsea's season overall was just not good enough either.
He plays best when he is a rotational player and not one we can rely on week in and week out. He performs best when we’ve completely cancelled him out hence the gaffer should be backed this coming window so that these boys start know not to get complacent otherwise they’ll spend a month on the sidelines and it won’t be because of injury. We need to have a similar system that exists at City and Liverpool. Pulisic is basically Chelsea’s Minamino.
