Hi everyone!
I am in the beautiful state of Florida. As you watch this video you will learn what I did. The whole state is not shiny. This job became increasingly uneasy. Let's just say I was unaware that I was in one of those bad neighborhoods until a couple guys stopped to let me know. After speaking with them I had to pack up and leave. I have never felt so uncomfortable doing a lawn before. I became so uneasy about it this one was not finished to my liking but I wasn't going to stay any longer.

I don’t know why you haven’t been arrested for trespassing. “Doing good”? I don’t think so. You are intruding. To show respect for others, you need to ask permission first. You seem to just be out for the KZhead $, the way you are doing it.

You can run into crazy people in houses like this. Squatters, people using it for criminal activities, you name it. So, definitely be careful. But if he was going to come out with guns, he would have done it when you knocked on the door. It's like with wild animals. You want to make a lot of noise. Don't surprise them or corner them. That's when things get dangerous. But if you feel unsafe for any reason, get the heck out of there. Trust your instincts and be safe.
Good on you, Robert! Pray over the job and ask for direction and protection. If the home owner comes out and tells you to stop. You stop. If they don't, look what you have done for the neighborhood! Blessings abound!

From the look of that house, an overgrown yard is the least of that property's problems. Supposed to be demolished? Definitely.

Yeah I did almost got backed into as well, but my ninja skills avoided it. 😆
It is possible they were inside and watching, and trying to decide in their minds what to do with a stranger out in their yard. Ultimately, since you didn't feel comfortable, and people tried to warn you it could be unsafe, I'm glad you left "early". You still made a huge change. A lot of space was recovered, yard form was being recovered, visibility was greatly improved. Should be better for the person and the neighborhood. Sometimes "everything" could be "too much change" if a person is struggling with trauma, etc. Admiring how much you got done, likely will still be the talk of the neighborhood. Wondered if there is such a thing as "friendly food" that might also help. Thought of a box of pancake mix and some eggs, a can of chili, or a convenience store would know what the local favorite junk food is. Just something to set outside the door. Interesting that was a piece of wilderness right in a busy area. By not clearing out to the edges, it was maintained.
You guys keep proving that amazing things are possible. Stay safe! This world can't get enough of people with your level of kindness and compassion.

It's crazy out in the streets, I was sleeping in my truck on the way cause Kevin was about two days behind me. But gotta say I meet some wonderful people on this trip.
